Empty Memorial, never to be used.

You are getting blasted today with questions from every angle, and I apologize for adding to the mix. Are Deadly Missions gone permanently from the game? Were they removed due to too many claims of issues with them?

To the point of the thread title, for those of us that never added anyone to our memorial, it is just a grid square in our camp occupied by fluff at this point. Perhaps the community could propose some ideas for how it might be repurposed? Understand that some may want to continue mourning their losses. Just looking for some closure on the tragic loss of danger.

I second that motion. A huge joy for me in this game is to send long standing survivors to the memorial. It's a way for me to see my growth that I like. This update had so many great things, this really takes the wind out of the sails. I don't plan on adding any new survivors till I can properly mourn them, which will slow my game play considerably

Agreed. I'll never understand why people want to keep playing any game that is insta-trophy. I played therefore I deserve a trophy. (eye-roll)

Taking away the risk reward of any game makes it a boring grind. Risk/reward, isn't that what games are all about, or the original intent of games? Don't get me wrong. I've had my fair share of tantrums when I lose a significant amount in the risk I take, but that's what makes games fun in the long run and when you look back on those fond memories of your victories and what you learned from those defeats. (steps down off of his 'games are too quick to pander now-a-days' soapbox)

All that being said, all I want is a way to see the cool stats for each survivor, which is what the memorial supplied. So why not allow retired survivors stats to be added to the memorial as well. Problem solved... at least for me. When I have to make room and get rid of a survivor, I just want to see how many days they survived and how many walkers they killed in that time.

Maybe the memorial could be repurposed as a "Hall of Fame" of sorts where we can go get the stats on all of our survivors.

The HOF/retired survivor has been proposed. Never seen a response from the admin.

My memorial will be repurposed as a library or as a porta potty. It all comes down to what my survivors deem most important!
