Just curious about how many trade goods people have stored.
Everyone seems to have a different tactic when it comes to spending them.
Raiding ought to prompt people to use them quickly, but that's probably not the case for all.
Knowing that some people are hoarders, I'm sure there are very impressive collections out there.

Has anyone broken, for example, the 20,000 TG mark?
Exactly why are people hoarding them?
Record hoarder will get the respect of the community.
Extra points for those who post screen shots.

Perhaps I'll be the winner? Everyone else who plays outposts can't be a hoarder like I am. Next games should really allow people to delete their outposts. I know it irriates me everytime I get a 3 shooter quest because I have two shooters in my outpost defense that I can't use. So here's my TGs:

Can I just say you guys impress me? Obviously @masmith93 is the winner. Can't even imagine how long it took you to gather all that TG. Knowing how long it takes me to save for a 7,500 TG crate, I will never get close to that.

My husband's game is really unbalanced...level 17 survivors but only level 41 player level. He's hording his reward crates until he can get player level gear from the TG's. I think he has around 42 crates, which would give him about 28,000 TG if he cashed them in. @masmith93 is still the winner.

Are you going to use it on 500 TG crates?
Not on the walker pit, I assume.
Knowing how little the walker defense matters in outposts...

Forget trade goods for a moment. I want to know how the new token system will work, how many we'll need etc. Nice to have the change in survivor levels, it's been pretty rough on my end trying to get new survivors. Good lord I wish that update was going in tonight. Each day waiting seems like a lifetime since my team is maxed. Really hoping to get the dodge trait for a few of my suvivors. My patience is waning. Everyone else sick of waiting for the update?

I've just started upgrading and adding walkers to my pit...... Like......today! Lol I havent really paid much attention to the outpost.... I've done some raids, and been raided just didn't pay attention to what I should be doing with it. But I researched it on here and watched some you tube videos about it. Thanks to all that share your info....and help me be less of a dumbass.

Interesting discussion. I used to put all TG's in 500 boxes for xp and gear, but stopped after good gear no longer came from the boxes. Now i invest all in outpost walkers, thinking NG wont drop the outpost. After reading this, is my strategy wrong?

So...
Once you have that many crates what will you spend it on? Gold crates seem to be the best bet. Gold crates and legendary crates if you need equipment. You could upgrade your walkers.

But if they are already maxed it seems useless to horde them. I don't have a need for that many. Some newer players could really max their camps. Cause 100k tg would net about 2m xp minimum. Unless you just got rare armor. It happens to me all the time. Too many times.

Yeah, but i dont play outposts. Im lvl 52 and never under attack, now immputting in thousands TG's in the walker pit and not shure that is smart. Might / could be smart to save them for after the next update and hope for new max 22 gear?

Listen, there's no right or wrong when it comes to TG spending, buddy.
I think I have changed my own strategy 1,000 times.
There's no good answer.

Rest assured that NG won't drop outposts.
Use TG on what you think is fun.
Because it's ourselves we have to please with this game.

I have 28 rewards saved totaling about 35K TG. Is there a hoarder competition?

I'd like to know, for players like @RickGrimes & @SlickRick , where's the challenge? Sometimes I have to make it challenging for myself. But if you have everything offered (because you can max everything instantly), are you just hanging out for an update? Now with cheap boosters, there are effectively no limits to play time either. Maxed out Outposts aren't as fun after you've beaten a few, and how many times can you get 500 Challenge stars before that gets boring? Am I missing something here?

First off I'm easily assumed...I just enjoy life and never really get stressed out about real-life stuff like work or drama so no game will ever bother me...I just play to have fun and do weird things to keep it that way...like using scouts and bruisers at the low levels of challenges for fun

I'm also in one of the greatest guilds in my opinion so the social part alone would keep me going...not to mention countless other friends I've met on here or in the game who I chat or message with.

I guess it just depends on how you approach the game...if you're trying to "win" or treat it like a calculus test or put a bunch of pressure on yourself I could see it burning people out...luckily I'm the complete opposite and just enjoy the ride...life is too short to get stressed out about a video game in my opinion

Christ on a cracker, @masmith93. Unfortunate that those trade goods are collecting dust in your account instead of having already been spent in mine. My total is significantly lower.

Only 917 at the moment, though I did spend 10,000 yesterday from guild challenges. No doubt you'll be the winner in this bragging contest.

My trade goods go toward gold chests almost as soon as I get them in hopes of large xp rewards. You saving them for once you hit 52?

Frack, that is over 200 gold chests!! At even 10% success rate in getting xp, you're sitting on nearly a million xp. Could probably count on a good number of legendary gear items too. Even at 1 in 50 you'd be sitting pretty.
