STOPS constant playing against low levels in challenges!!!

I`m leader of the German guild "Breaking Deads" (3rd place in Germany, Top 30 worldwide). For weeks on average leaves a very good player our guild every week. Always the same justification: eternal playing against low levels in challenges.
Now most of our players on fighters stage 19. There comes then 20, 21, etc. It always comes more rounds to play along. Where will this ends?
"Small Info" NG: all players who stopped playing were good payers!

It's really strange that no-one has mentioned this before. Surely you'd think someone might have at some point.........“You never know how strong you are until being strong is your only option.” (Bob Marley)

I support this thread. It's really annoying. Most of the fun starts at required LVL 21.
But two Challenges per week where to stressful.

Ah well, at least they have made the effort to make the challenge maps shorter, that helps a lot

What helps most to shorten the time with low level: gold for tank or booster ... that brings money to NG- Ex-Leader "Breaking Deads" -

NG is making good changes to the game. But I have to agree, the low level challenge missions are a problem for players who have been in this great game for more than a few months. Challenge only becoming challenging on Friday for higher lvl players

@Conan1976 I feel like quitting the game every time early in the challenges. As time runs short I'm finally at the higher lvl's where I'm having fun, earning decent rewards and wishing I had more time.
Then the weekend makes me long for the challenges to start, only to feel like quitting again due to the mundane lower lvl's. Chew, swallow, repeat. -

I can understand your point. Really I do. I just don't see how this can be changed in a decent way? Let higher level players start at required level 10 and give them a 100 stars head start? If they'd let you start at level 10, 13 or whatever you would make less stars overall.

Our fighters have sometime level 30 or more ... 30 complete rounds in 5 days or more?- Ex-Leader "Breaking Deads" -

In terms of money i suppose that "low players" are more valuables.."Always be yourself unless you can be a capybara. Then always be a capybara".

How about if you could select as challenge the desired level ? That would solve the problem . The only problem is how many times you can repeat the mission .
-
or have the starting challenge level depend on your player level and how many building points you have.

This is way better than grinding out 500+ stars per week every single week. For the 'average' player who only gets to the 270 reward, that's LITERALLY a 46% reduction in number of times we have to grind challenge missions compared to the old system.
If you think the current challenge system burns people out, you clearly were not around for when the switch occurred initially from 1 to 2 challenges per week and the mass exodus of players happened.
In any case, I'm certain they're working on something new. I just don't have any details. -
I'm really enjoying doing some of these mission over and over again before it gets tough. Right now I'm enjoying blindspot and hacking away at saviors with an all warrior team. The way they look when they get chopped, stabbed, get a spin move done on their head, and a foot to the chest to pry my sword from their body is awesome! The death scenes by the warrior are one of my favorite things about this game.
Maybe your guild mates need an inspirational speech about personal sacrifice for the greater good of the guild instead of leaving mid challenge.
This part isn't directed @Loewe1968 but I find it odd that when challenge missions are too easy people will complain that they don't like the mindless grinding but no one complains when outposts are too easy. When challenge missions get tough no one complains but when outposts are tough people complain that raiding is too hard. Go figure. -
I can definitely agree they need to find a way to get rid of the low level grind. I can understand why it needs to be there for new players, but for the high level players I think if NG needs to explore changing how things work. Not to mention from a resource/rewards standpoint the low level grind is a complete waste of gas.IGN: Spartan912

I love the lower levels!........ Just sayin........ I get to try new strategies, use survivors I don't usually use and dominate them! I never find kicking total ass boring......but that might just be me.

Yes that is fine, 2,3 or 4 times but not 17,18,19 times.-----------------

Let me add that the one map in the forest challenge that you have to go to the far right of the map and open 3 boxes then go back to the left where you started from, ok that one sucks doing it over and over again. It sucks almost as much as the car dealer map in the Town challenge.

@Shut_Up Just by thinking of it makes me immediately want to quit too.-----------------

But generally, am I wrong with the impression that the "Guild is searching for new member" Threads have increased recently ?-----------------

I can see 2 problems with this way:
1- weak missions, low rewards;
2- too many repeated missions, over and over again the same map.
My sugestions:
1- The challenge could begin at 2 or 3 lvls below survivors lvl, and progress slowly, 4 or 5 times each lvl. It Keeps the "over and over again", but turns more dificulty, and we'll fight for best rewards...
2- more maps, more challenges, mutant maps...
Maybe, the maps could show any different enemy, increasing the lvl, different situations could appears, anything that makes the next lvl different from the last... -
I don't understand the reasoning behind the 30 minute time breaks on the challenges but it would really help the high level players if this was removed so we could progress through the low levels faster atleast.

If NG based rewards off training grounds level instead of recommended survivor level nobody would have an issue with low level challenge missions. It's not the monotony that bothers us; it's the crap rewards until we reached 200+ stars that irks us.
** edit 270 stars (45 each map) is where we start to see level 18 items. Literally 95+ percent of the event is crappy rewards. Except for phones and gold.

Agree with OP. I'm bored to play low lvl maps for poor rewards. Just waste of time and gas. It need to be changed somehow<img src="http://i.imgur.com/d6070rs.jpg"alt="" />
-
@Amiga as I mentioned if NG based rewards off training grounds level we'd all be happy. 270 stars and 90 maps that have rewards that catered to everyone's survivor needs.

I am so agree with you @Loewe1968 .... here is a solution from months ago: http://forums.nextgames.com/walkingdead/discussion/3406/star-collecting-for-pros
^^Star collecting for pros! - maybe today, more people will care about this great idea from Gaga than in the past! at least, it is one solution for both - the lowlevel players and the highlevel players! Have someone a better one?

I have always been amazed by how many people are actually doing these challenges. I did try once when rewards were still 1000 tg at lower levels as well. Now I dont have patience to walk thru those to actually get some challenge and reasonable rewards. Or maybe the challenge is actually having cows nerves and enough patience to keep playing these stages over and over again until you finally reach point where you have chances of losing..
-
I know this is not "ideas" section but maybe it would be more fun to fight these challenges even at lower levels if you were given a random party of same level (3-nnn) or you could choose from a few for each level (maybe even spending some gold to boost them up or "reroll") and when you have finished all 6 stages in that level then you would be given next team and so on.
