Has 24 hour gas and doublexp been removed?

Has the option to purchase 24 hour fuel and doublexp been removed. Before I delete the game from the phone I want to make sure there isn't a bug or an issue.

    No it's not. It's all-time available IAP, but as I said: read the threads about it.

    Okay....thanks. I was not aware of these people having to remove anything from the game due to an update later.

    Because update will take some time of maintenance, nobody knows how long exactly, so Devs just don't want people complaining about "lost" time on booster, LOL.

    They are removed before an update drops because it's easier to stop people buying them beforehand than pausing the boosts during maintenance

    Probably making a video!

    But I don't like it.
    Easier to write on booster some kind of warning that update is coming so if you buy it now - don't complain later.

    I am buying gas booster once a week when I have time for it and today I have time but can't buy it. So I hope I will have time again after update before the end of challenge.

    Any chance a cheaper 12 hour booster can be introduced, reason been Wednesdays are my only time i can put serious gameplay time in for the challenges and the absence of the booster is really going to compromise my score.

    I guess if you bought back to back boosters though you are screwed? E.g. I'm pretty sure you if you buy multiple gas boosters it just extends it past 24 hours right?

    @all and @PR0DJ ;)

    OK, I had misread the post. I thought it was meant the combined offering of "purchase 24 hour fuel WITH double XP" That's just sometimes.

    The two bundles for "purchase 24 hour fuel" and "double XP" would naturally temporarily removed due to the update.

    Sorry!

    The rest of your post made sense so you probably didn't mean for this to sound petulant.

    Rolling out a new systems release is inconvenient for everyone involved. We all just need to suck it up and deal with it.

    Maybe when a booster is purchased that will be active during a planned update or maintenance they should just have a popup to tell you the planned down time & let the player decide if they want to proceed with the purchase.

    @theRealBender I agree there should be a warning but I have to think part of the reasoning deadlies were removed was due to people ignoring that warning.

    Nothing worse then being given a warning, ignoring it in a haste to just play the way you want to, having your best survivor die, then putting in a ticket regarding it.

    Plus I can see a whole "I paid $2 for 24 hours and I got jipped" threads starting. probably less of a headache for NG especially when it comes to things that directly cost money.

    But I agree a warning notice should be suffice. You get what you pay for (knowing you'll lose out on some time)

    Is that even possible. Dont you have to buy one at a time?

    @DLich
    Actually I have a better idea which is definitely easy enough to code: your 24-hr booster is active when the game is in service. If there are server-side conditions that prevent a player from logging in like server maintenance, then such outages should not be taken into account. In other words, you get your full 24-hrs even if the servers are down or have you locked out.

    Sure. Why should it sound petulant. It ends with "." (not with "!!!" or "!") and no caps.

    I just said that I don't like it. I'd better see a warning that maintenance is coming.
    And as I can see other people don't really like it either but everybody knows the reason and nobody cares enough to be petulant or whatever, just sharing thoughts on this matter.

    @Dale I disagree... obviously common sense and petulance are not mutually exclusive traits.

    I have never heard anyone verbally say "But I don't like it." without sounding petulant so I read it that way. Then I thought about it and decided you probably didn't mean it that way. Tone is difficult to discern in writing. It's one of the drawbacks of communicating online.
    I'd better see a warning that maintenance is coming.

    and I've never heard anyone verbally say "I'd better see ____ " without it sounding like a threat.

    But I'm guessing you meant "I'd rather see a warning"

    @DonCoqui Generally they are not for sure. =)
    But I think he meant that he see that I was making a point calmly explaining it, so it was not an outburst of petulance.

    @Dale Wow. That's is a lot misinterpreting.
    Can't see what is wrong with "I don't like it" and "I'd better see..".
    Maybe it's better to use "I'd rather see.." - I agree.
    But "I'd better see.." being a threat? Really?

    Everybody use that only as a threat like "I'd better see... or else"?

    @Dale I meant to say: "It would be better to see.." but shortened it without a thought of other meanings of it.

    Yes, "I'd better see . . or else". Really. I don't know about "everybody" but it sounds that way to me.

    As for "I don't like it", I see nothing wrong with that. "But I don't like it" period, new paragraph sounds petulant.

    I realize that you don't mean to come across this way. This isn't me saying to you "Watch your mouth, young man" it is me saying to myself "Wait. He probably didn't mean it that way".
    @Dale I meant to say: "It would be better to see.." but shortened it without a thought of other meanings of it.
    yeah, I kinda figured that's what happened. As a co-worker used to say "Be careful of what you sound like when you write".

    Adding the word "really" does make it sound less petulant. I'm working on figuring out why.

    Another weirdness of the English language:
    "But I really don't like it" sounds like a lot more dislike than "But I don't really like it"

    I got your point about

    As for the the thread: I think doesn't really matter now, since
    update will be in about 2-3 hours already, and then we can buy boosters! (derailing back =) )
