New quests coming later & later everyday.

I was under the assumption that quests should come once a day, which would mean within a twenty four hour period. For at least the last week, my quests have appeared later each day. Now that we have the countdown, it's easy to document, which I'll start doing today. What's the time cycle we should expect? @zbot, @Teeceezy, thanks.

It "Should" be 24 hours since the last one given. With the exception when you have 3 + 1 queue up.
Or something along those line.

The timer starts when you load the game. For example, if you get a quest at 4 PM, you will have one available at 4 PM the next day. However, if you don't open your game till 5 PM, then your quest countdown timer won't start until 5 PM so you can't get your next quest until 5 PM the next day. It kind of stinks. That's why I like the 21 hour clock for radios and the TG shop because you actually get something every 24 hours even if you're not on top of it.

Last night, my quest was at 9:45, tonight I have 40 mins. still to wait (10:48). I'm always logged on in the evenings. In fact, on Fridays, I'm desperately waiting & hoping for that final quest.

@JudithG I've had the same issue. Also have an issue with the timer on the TG shop being off.

The Trade Store is definitely 6 hours from when you log in . You don't have to visit the store though, it just starts by itself.

You have to be in the actual Camp also.. so if you're on a Mission.. the new quest won't come til you pop back in the Camp

Timer covered by Google play achievements button? Disconnect from google play to see quest timer. Don't forget to reconnect. It's inconvenient, but that's all I got

On an unrelated subject, I wasn't getting videos when I knew I should and after re-connecting to Google play, the vids started showing again. Coulda been a coincidence.

This is odd.. My counter was hidden by Google play achievement. When I disconnected from it I received new quest straight away...

meh. I think progress is stored in servers and can be restored in case of phone loss. I connect to google from time to time for a couple of minutes though.

The timers in the game don't run on straight time. What I mean is, they pause. I set alerts on my phone and the game lags behind by a few minutes. This works to our (small) advantage when on a booster. I'm not sure what causes the timer to stop, but I'm guessing it's the loading screen after mission rewards or something like that

@DoTak I've actually had the opposite happen. I had 5 minutes left showing on my double XP booster a few days ago and I was going to go on a massive scrapping spree in the last 5 minutes. Then, my game froze, so I had to force close and restart it. When I came back into the game, my gas/XP booster had ended, 5 minutes before the timer said it would. Sent an in-game support question with no response.

@zbot - you seem to know a lot about bugs. Any insight on this one?

I've noticed things like that when looking at the gas counter. It had 10 seconds left to tick over. I went to a screen that had to load, and came up about 5 seconds later. I still had 10 seconds to go.

I had a mini rollback a few days ago. I went back about 2 hours to when I selected a gold crate. I thought the rollback would affect the timer for the TG store and the free call but it didn't.

Feels good to clear out the armoury once in a while. I'm a bit of a hoarder, so I have to look at each piece and tell myself, Doug, that level 16 blue jacket is NEVER gonna be back in style so just scrap it

Next time I buy a booster, think I'll try to remember to either note the time I bought it, or set a countdown timer on my phone and see how far off it is after 24hrs

Rollbacks are a pretty bad thing in this game, but sometimes, in real life, I would welcome a 2 hour do over. Like right after I watched some shitty movie or ate that suspect baloney sandwich
