Martensite Katana and a Question on Warriors

In case anyone is wondering what the hell is a Martensite Katana well I had to google it myself. Martensite is a type of hardened crystallized steel named after a German metallurgist. If you haven't seen the newest warrior bundle you will soon and see the Martensite Katana. It is not named after Martin from terminus.
I've heard of Damascus steel but not Martensite. Thanks for the lesson on blacksmithing!
@Shteevie What is the full description of a warrior charge attack? Is it 2 normal attacks or 1 critical attack and 1 normal attack or is it 2 critical attacks?
Next warrior bundle can we have a Hattori Hanzo Katana?

My bundle says Martensite Katana (arc to the right). Wonder what 'arc to the right' mean?
PS: Traditional Katana is made of Japanese steel called Tamahagane -
The question is.. why so expensive? £17 for nothing unusual...
but
Armours Bundle finally worth to look
on it<img src="http://i.imgur.com/d6070rs.jpg"alt="" /> -
Give them as little money possible @Amiga they don't need it and I know you stick to this policy without me telling you.

I bought recently Marksman Bundle
so I'm not totally F2P player. NG has my support
Marksman - so previously bundles as well...<img src="http://i.imgur.com/d6070rs.jpg"alt="" /> -
@Shut_Up , wish I could buy It
Hope this Shop access will be back soon - NG gotta unlock my security access Please !Lone wanderer -
Martensite is thought to have been invented / discovered by Japanese swordsmiths, who layered steel of different hardnesses in the creation of their blades in order to optimize for edge retention, flexibility, and durability.
Here's an image of the kind of attack arc the sword has:
So you can see that the selected enemy isn't in the center of the arc as normal, but instead on the far right end of the arc. This should give Warriors a new feel in combat.
Hope this answers some questions!Development Team Member - The Walking Dead: No Man's Land

Wouw, that's interesting. If I were spending money at the moment I would be tempted.

The Sword Charge Attack is not a guaranteed crit like the Pistol's, but the Sword Charge Attack cannot be a body shot.Development Team Member - The Walking Dead: No Man's Land

@Amiga although it is similar to the already wide arc currently available.. That pic shows quite a significant benefit to having it in some tight quarters.. With where that warrior is positioned normal warrior weapon with that arc would at most be only be able to hit 2 of those walkers.. It's allowing for a further reach.. I think it looks pretty useful!

Well I'm a little confused now. The Katana in my bundle doesn't say arc to the right it just says wide arc and the description wide arc has always said. Is this a visual bug or something else?
@AngieMatheson were you being a little sarcastic and funny about security access or can you not get into your game?
Next is how Shteevie said it was discovered by Japanese swordsmiths. The couple of hits I read said it was discovered by a German and named after him. -
@Shteevie
Is there somewhere the possibility to inform about such special weapons? You can not ask for all special weapon here. Alternatively, one only has to buy and test. So only the purchase remains to cancel and wait for what happens.
How about if NG makes meaningful information here in the forum with pictures or even videos created? If I buy something, I need concrete information.
EDIT: my suggestion ... makes a section in the forum, where NG explains specific weapons with pictures or videos.- Ex-Leader "Breaking Deads" - -
@Shteevie Why is the warrior charge attack weaker than a regular attack? See this thread: http://forums.nextgames.com/walkingdead/discussion/14233/warrior-bonus-attackProud member of Mavericks OG, a top 3 global GW and challenge guild.

So here's a noob question I've always wondered but never asked. When targeting multiple walkers, what difference does it make which one is the selected enemy? Does it get more damage? I usually adjust my aim to get the most walkers in the crosshairs. Should I be targeting one in particular?
I'm not addicted, I just have nothing better to do.

And in German language it is even worse. Missing description "(ARC TO THE RIGHT)" !!!- Ex-Leader "Breaking Deads" -

@SlowMo Your Katana has arc to the right in the sword name and mine doesn't. I thought arc to the right wa going to be part of the weapon trait description but it probably should look like your screen shot.

I hated metallurgy when I was an engineering major.
Martensit was named after the German Engineer Adolf Martens (1850–1914) who discovered it to be a specific carbon iron structure when quickly cooling hot highly carbon saturated iron. It is a very hard but brittle material without further heat treatments (which reduces the carbon saturation and increases strength). Hope that clearifies it a little. -
Description is pretty ambiguous indeed.
-
@Amiga - if the warrior charge attack is like the assault charge, there is no body shot possible, regardless of Walker level. But I think assaults can still body shot a tank and/or armor Walker with special attack.
@JayZ - the same thing is true for hunters: a charged critical is less than a non-charged critical. No clue if that applies to other classes. -
@Shteevie your image shows an arc to the left and a gap to the right, so is that the weapon in question or another one?
-
@Shut_Up well i'm not sarcastic or anything (tough being french), am just stuck at the roadside, watching every new offer without being able to buy a single one. (NG bug)
Try to send a frenchie in a mall, credit card in hand, and saying to her "you cannot buy anything" - there would be blood I think.
For the katana, the only one I know is in my living room, sent by a japanese friend from Kyoto, through Paris, but have no idea of the type of Steel used to make it (I dont read japanese).
I just know that if I had à zombie problem, this would be my Best friend !
The 135° arc trait is a must have in close combat for me, I scrap anyelse under 90° (damage matters, still)

needs to be at least 50% cheaper I can buy several full games for the cost of this but nice addition.
