How can someone send request to a specific guild ?

How can someone send request to a specific guild? I can't find the guild I am looking for. Does it depend on location?

    The Guild search is a little buggy

    Do you know anyone from the Guild? Ask them to add something special to their Guild details.. like a # or something of the sort & then use it to search again
