Adult root beer

So I have tried 3 of the grown up root beers on the market Not your fathers, coney island, and the newest one best damn root beer. I will say that Coney Island is the best almost like drinking an A&W with boos mmmmm and the other 2 are bluhk but if I had to choose between the 2 I'd say not your fathers is better than best damn but not by much

Can we focus people on the task at hand ? And I've never put toothpaste and root beer in the same sentence until now.
I can't believe there's people comparing the two.

Anyone prefer the half/half ice tea & lemonade versus just sweet tea?
I usually mix my energy drink with my powerades, so they're not too sweet and have a little carbonation kick.

I could have stayed out of this thread, because I'm neither moderator nor thought police. But I can say that to me, the topic is totally beyond me (being local elsewhere) and thus no fun at all. If there's an occasional just-for-fun thread, why not at least pretend to have some relation to TWD (and even more on topic; related to the game itself). E.g. throw in a joke about Johnnie Walker...

@superbeast : You may not have heard about the World Wide Web. There are tons of forums out there, some (perhaps only a few, so you have to look carefully) are not related to TWD. Ok, I know you know, but there are reasons to keep the WWW tidy too. No hard feelings.

It would be thoughtful of you to edit the thread title to contain the words OFF TOPIC, to aid those of us that are here for ON TOPIC root beer discussions.

    Cheers!

I know there are millions of forums out there but have made friends in this one I normally do talk about TWD and figured adult root beer was as far from anything pertaining to TWD as possible. I couldn't even think of any derogatory remarks and am pretty good at that. if your not interested in this topic scroll past.

If this topic really is a bother to all I will end it

    And the consensus is?

It doesn't bother me one bit. ;-) I thought it was a fun, waiting-for-gas diversion, especially since I happened to be enjoying one at the time.

I hear what you're saying Jag, however...as a newborn here (playing for 3 weeks now) and miss playing an rpg without a general chat window to the world, I was delighted to read this thread as I can actually join in albeit just banter with peeps that clearly share a common ground of loving TWD. Maybe the only connection, but this thread actually encouraged me to finally register!

Sorry that this addition has bumped the thread up, but I had to add my ginger beer in put.

Cooked dinner this evening, deep fried chicken pieces in home made batter. Ran out of brown beer and found a lonely bottle of Kopparberg Frank's ginger beer in the back of the cupboard...its fizzy, so I tried it...omg I've invented Ginger Beer Batter! It won't be the last time I use this ingredient in cooking (didn't use the whole bottle in the batter so obviously drank the rest - notes of raspberry and definitely not toothpasty).

I'll try not to encourage non TWD discussions again, but cannot promise. Love you all

As for consensus I think the rules are clear enough to overrule any opinion.
"Respect the forum’s topic and keep discussions in the right place."
    http://forums.nextgames.com/walkingdead/discussion/6/forum-rules-guidelines#latest

But as you say, there's really no harm in the post itself and I don't mind the discussion to continue within this thread. Mark off topic-threads in the title and one knows to scroll past it. I just don't want everyone to jump the same wagon and dilute the topic board. If there's a strong need for off-topic among-friends discussions in this forum I suggest someone asks the mods to make a separate section for it.

I can understand the comparison of toothpaste and rootbeer, as weird as it seems to some. Awful/cheap rootbeer has a sort of chalky taste, as does all diet rootbeer (the worst of awful rootbeer).

In the Army we dropped An entire shot of root beer shnaps into a mug of A&W and slammed it..that's the extent of my Root beer wisdom.

@Lawdog allow me to share my rootbeer wisdom:

    1) Good rootbeer does not come in a can.

That's pretty much all I know. I don't drink a lot of soda, but I've figured this much out in my life.
