About weapons and burning

Hello everyone Not long ago, I did a page on my blog about Walkers. I tried to collect as much info about them as possible to help people. Now, I want to make sure about one thing, since Pitch Fork is again in conversations... Can anyone confirm for sure, that you will get burn damage while using Pitch Fork and Kingdom Spear (ranged melee weapons) when attacking burning walkers with melee survivors from distance?

I can only confirm it for the rare pitchfork. But I guess it applies also to the kingdom spear and legendary pitchfork.

Confirm for the spear and the pitchfork.

Can also confirm that this is working as expected by NG and that there are currently no plans to change this behavior.

Seriously? You get burned using fireplace poker on fireplace from safety distance?

@Monsuta I can agree that it is bullshit that you get burned using the kingdom spear. My scout parks himself a space away and gets burnt when he attacks. Doesn't make sense since it is a long ranged weapon.
