Gina, Matt and Will were exhausted. Since hours they were running away from a huge horde of big lvl 20 walkers. The 3 survivors had 4 slave walkers in chains with them, but the wicked big lvl 20 walkers smelled their fear. They were pretty sure to die that day, when they saw a house in the woods. "We are saved!" said Gina, almost crying of joy. Suddenly ..... (plz continue)

Suddenly the door of the lodge breaks open. A walker stepped into the sweltering heat, its flesh heavily burned, clothes only barely holding together. Tightening her grip on the knife in her hand, Gina sprinted ahead of her two companions, leaving them with the responsibility of their supplies. A second walker stumbled over the remains of the door just as she closed in on the scorched walker. She plunged the knife with practiced ease through the optic nerve into the brain, killing it for good this time. Pulling back the knife she twirled once and leaped into the air to drive the knife methodically through the back of its skull.

The room was clean. But there was a strange sound coming from behind the kitchen door

Matt took up position outside the lodge door, waiting for a sign from Gina. She waited, taught and ready to attack. The sound suddenly stopped and time stood still for what felt like an eternity. Then

She edged forward with her knife lifted above her shoulder, ready to strike at a moments notice. The sound was strangely familiar, of nails scratching on a surface made of wood. Without a sound she neared the door and listened, her left hand reaching for the handle. It wouldn't do to recklessly open the door and be ambushed, but Gina knew she didn't have much time before the big walker would reach the entrance. Faintly she heard a whining coming from the other side. No rasping breath or the dragging of limbs across wooden floors. Do walkers even need to breath? Her curiosity peaked she opened the door.

She stood frozen to the spot, her blood running cold at the sight before her. She lifted her hand and beckoned to Matt. He instinctively knew what to do.

He reached for the bag with medical supplies from one of the carriers and began barking orders. 'Will, barricade the door, make sure the big one can't get through.' Reaching Gina he layed a hand on her shoulder. 'Go help Will, he's barricading the ground floor. Board up the windows and see if there's some hunting equipment lying around. I'll see what I can do here.' Matt knelt down on one knee beside the child. He had become used to the grotesque state his patients were in after the end of civilization, yet it still horrified him to see a small child in such pain. Solemnly he began to check the boy for bitemarks.

Matt started to check the young boy and his hand started to tremble again. He kept repeating to himself 'Please don't let this happen again, I couldn't save them, but I can save you. Please don't let this happen again, I couldn't save them, but I can save you'. The odour of death was still burnt into his nostils, and seared into his mind.

There were a few old scratches on his face, crusted blood covering those wounds. His neck seemed to be free of any markings and he fumbled with the buttons of the shirt. 'Damn it!' He reached for the collar with both his hands and tore the shirt open. The wound on his abdomen was large and had the shirt drenched in blood. He poked his fingers around the edges. 'You're lucky kid, the wound ain't deep enough to kill ya. I'll have to stitch you it up though.' The boy groaned in pain but remained otherwise silent. Grabbing the bag he searched for a lighter and a knife. Heating the blade for a while he observed the child waist down. There weren't any bloody patches on his legs, so it seemed as though he would be all right after this was over. He sighed in relieve, he might just make it. 'Ok kiddo, this is gonna hurt, scream if you need to, but it's the only way you'll survive.' With one hand he pushed both sides of the wound together, with the other he pressed the heated blade onto the skin, searing the flesh, but it stopped the bleeding. The screams echoed throughout the house, alerting walkers nearby.

she could feel consciousness leaving her... it was getting dark.

Just as her vision started tunneling to black she was able to get her hands on her knife handle.
She had a split second decision to make, try to break the grip and jam it into fatty's head... or take the route than guaranteed she wouldn't be one of those... things.. and jam it into her own skull.

just as she made her decision, consciousness had left her... it was too late to react.

that he was in love with her. But love was the last thing she wanted. She needed to stay focused and not being distracted by irrational feelings. For a brief moment she thought about shooting him down, so his feelings wouldnt endanger her life. At that very moment a huge lvl 19 armored walker appeared behind him.

...the wall caved in as a horde of walkers stumbled in.
the screams had attracted tons of the mindless freaks... they were ready for blood and flesh and nothing was going to stop them.

Matt never took his eyes off Gina... he kept walking slowly, knife in hand, towards her...

A walker grabbed his shoulder, finally snapping him out of his trance! he swung around to see the walker lunging towards his throat...

    But, out of nowhere...

that his crazy chemistry teacher was still alive and just saved their add? A disturbing thought, cause the same teacher was sententenced to death bc he had decided to do some cruel and sometimes deadly chemitry experiments on the bodies of some of his students. What if he just needed living material?
