What happened to the Rick tokens?

I just got a message in the 'News' section of the game that it's going to be Rick tokens...so I bought phones in hopes of getting some good Rick tokens, only to find out it was still Daryl and Rufus..I checked news again and it still said Rick tokens..so I rebooted game, still Daryl and Rufus? Came on here to see if anything was said..didn't see anything...went back to game and now the 'News' doesn't have the Rick tokens message!? Wth happened??!! I bought phones (which I hate doing, but really need Rick tokens) specifically for Rick as advertised and now they removed it all together?? Does anyone know if it will come back?

I dunno @ vabuda1,I was under the impression it would swap to Rick today,didn't get that news message though.

It's probably next weeks event, which starts Monday. It was probably just an accident they sent that out.

It should change, but the radio call still says better chance to find Daryl Tokens

I was wrong so I've come up with an alternate theory.

As the main star of the show Rick is getting kind of pissed that while Rufus keeps getting so much unwarranted attention, it is like finding a unicorn trying to get Rick tokens. He's sick of the constant disrespect he receives and has gone into hiding while NG tables this issue for another 3 months.

Daryl is starting to get pissed too because while sitting in his cell he realized that having defensive stance and retaliate is a rip off because only one of those traits can work at the same. Daryl is beginning to feel shorted when he looks at other legendary heroes who have traits that work in conjunction with each other and not either or.

Yeah idk, it would just be nice to maybe have some type of clue as to what's going on..I can save my phones obv but not gonna lie it's going to be pretty hard to do....and the message David H79 posted isn't the one I was talking about(not saying you were implying that, I'm more saying to clarify) mine was a brand new alert that went with the other alert about double xp on kills. Was there all morning..but wasn't able to buy Rick only the other 2 from the week...then poof alert was gone...but looking at David's pic about Daryls week, shows that Rick WAS supposed to be there so some clarification on what happened would be great.
