Promote someone to leader, kicked from own guild?

I was wondering, if i promote a good player to leader, could he/she kick me from own guild?
Or is there some protection to prevent that..

also you should note if you promote a player to elder they can kick out everyone except the leader so be careful on that part as well.

Helpful advice for running a guild.

1) Use an external chat for all members (make it mandatory for joining) (LINE, Groupme, Slack, etc). (As to why see 4).
2) A guild should be able to function with 1 leader and/or 1 elder. (Don't use the elder position as a reward for performance (that's what gifts are for). Even with an absent leader the guild can fully function with 1 trusted elder.
3) Only promote to elder users you fully trust.
4) When shit hits the fan use 1) to regroup.

I was trying to get things done without an extra app like Line etc.

Elders can't do absolutely nothing to the Leaders. So if you are the Leader then no, he cant kick you but he could kick everybody else.

Also if you promote someone to leader you will no longer be leader just an elder.

I guess you are mixing it up @Onyx.
There can only be one leader in a guild but several elders .

If you want to pass the leadership you will be a normal member and could be kicked by the leader or any elder.
If you meant to promote someone to an elder: the leader can't get kicked. An elder can only kick normal users and other elders. Furthermore promote normal players and demote other elders.

Better only promote those you know for a while and trust. There were some cases when a new elder wiped out a guild with demoting and kicking everyone.
