Does the lucky trait apply to all traits (survivor, weapon and armor) or only the traits in the same category?

it applies to any percentage chance based traits such as dodge, bullet dodge, sure shot, stun resist, crit chance, etc.

It does not apply to traits such as iron skin, marksman, crit damage, vigilant, defensive stance, etc

luck can be found on a survivor or weapon only but can affect any percentage based trait on survivor, weapon or armor

All traits that your survivor has access to (regardless of where the traits come from: can be weapon, armor, survivor, or from a hero leader) that are chance-based (e.g., Sure Shot, Dodge, Bulletproof, Swift Strike, etc.) and even some things that are not observable (e.g., critical hits).

While were on thr subject....does stacking traits add the percentage or does highest percentage take,

Weapon 10%
= 30% increase in traits taking effect?

Trait stacking adds together, not just the highest one. So yes, in your example, you'd have 30% lucky which is a 1.3x multiplier to your chance based rolls.

One more question, while we're on the subject.

12% dodge + 12% luck doesn't = 24% dodge, right?

It would be 12% dodge x 1.12 = 13.44%?

Luck may appear to have minimal value when applied to the low percentage traits, such as bullet dodge (max 15% + luck multiplier), but on the higher base percentage traits like interrupt, stun resistance and threat reduction, having even silver dodge really helps

For example, if I have
15%dodge on survivor,
15% dodge on armor,

15% lucky on survivor
20%lucky on weapon

How much dodge percentages I got?

30% dodge plus 35% of 30

10% of 30 = 3
20% of 30 = 6
30% of 30 = 9
35% of 30 = 10.5

30 + 10.5 = 40.5% total.

Another way as mentioned above is 30% x 1.35 = 40.5%

This confuses me awhile

Adding Father Gabriel as a leader makes it even more interesting.
15% dodge on survivor
15% dodge on armor
8% dodge from Legendary Gabe
38% base dodge potential

15% lucky on survivor
20% lucky on weapon
13% lucky from Legendary Gabe
48% base lucky

38% + (48% of 38) = 56.24% to dodge an attack!!!

And there you have the true reason why luck was nerfed. Otherwise it would be 86% in the old formula.

@unum I'm not sure you're correct because gabriels trait isn't called luck it just says there is 13% chance of trait activating so it may just add to the total rather than included in the luck formula @Teeceezy could I trouble you for clarification

@Captainslayer if you click on the Lucky character trait it says "Improves the chances that other traits will take effect by xx%". Gabriel's says "...and a xx% greater chance of having their traits activate." I'm under the assumption that these are the same. Just like Michonne's trait, giving threat reduction and swift strike added percent even though it doesn't directly say it as such.

How is it that Gabriel has a better hero trait than the show runner Rick?

I can actually see myself using him often in 9 months when I finally unlock him.

@unum I don't disagree with that and you're probably correct it does factor into the luck formula rather than a stand alone add. Although michonne's is different as it says it will add a chance to threat reduce and swift strike, where as to work luck out it's a formula and luck stacks with luck, but still after a clarification just to be sure.

He's only 250 to unlock and I'm saving radios for his hero day so I'm hopeful
