Why "FTP" players are offered only some (epic) bundle weapons?

I know this would also (or better) fit to suggestions, but it is more crowded here. Feel free to move it, if necesarry.
Why FTP and "little money" spending players can get only "selected" rare/epic version of weapons sold by NG? Im really grateful for allowing us to purchase those, but I would love to see some others as well.
As far as I remember, we were offered flamethrower(already twice, or lets say 3 times, as there was also rare version), Beths scissors, rare pitchfork and maybe some more that I missed or forgot. Well, in real past, legendary lucille was obtainable with TGs too.
I would love to see all hero weapons like Daryls crossbow, Morgans staff, Governors assault rifle and all those bundle weapons NG is selling for real money in TG shop in epic version(keep leg for paying customers, thats for sure). I would get almost all of them(if not all), not just because of their traits, but just to be able to use "named" weapons with my survs/heroes.
Just, if you(NG) decide to do so, please keep it for reasonable price and for several days, as not every player can get large amounts of TGs fast.

I'd be happy if they offered the pitchfork again, mine is still maxed at lvl 23. An epic/legendary version this time wouldn't be bad either..

I'd love a chance at a wide margin bruiser weapon. I no longer have the one from the story missions, and there's never been one released for tg. I'd even take a rare one.

I always said that f2p should get the opportunity to get unique weapons since this started a long time ago.

Make it 200.000 TG. I don't care. Opportunity should be there.

I agree with this post strongly. I purchase the morgan staff because I love that weapon but I never have seen it offered in the tg shop.

NG has never only once (thanks @Monsuta )offered a legendary item to be purchased with in game currency and I feel they never will won't again primarily because similarly to ICELS if it's offered people may just wait for the free version to show up and thus not buy it will real world money when presented the opportunity to do so.

Players whom purchase these weapons do so because they like it and/or they want an advantage in the game. I don't purchase weapons primarily because personally I can't see spending $10+ on a weapon and even more so one that will become useless at the next council upgrade.

We are given the free epic version as an option to purchase which is cool and all and if it has special features like the pitchfork etc then it's even better. But imagine as a paying consumer you purchased the paid version and then all of a sudden that same one you purchased becomes available to purchase via in game currency. Players whom purchased it would feel ripped off and it may deter them from buying again in the future.

@DLich FYI, NG did offer Lucille as a legendary bruiser weapon for 15,000 TG before long time ago.

Nice find... I forgot about that. Was it something that was also offered at one point for pay? And if so does anyone know how those that paid for it responded? I'll look through that thread later today.

I 'bought' the legendary Lucille ages ago for 15k tg. The cash version came out waaay later, but I think you're right, now that a cash version is out, won't be anymore legendary available for tg

Agree with OP, would be nice to have watered down versions of special weapons offered

@DLich NG offer the "We are all Negan" bundle with this in the TG shop at the same time.

The bundle included gold & outfit, didn't notice anyone against the TG version by that time.

@monsuta If I remember correctly that was the only time a Leg weapon was offered. It was also an incentive to raid. It was a different time and a different game (you could still lose TG).

15K of TG back then was harder to earn than now. I remember constantly raiding during the event to get 3 Lucille's.

@zbot Yeah, I remembered those time almost everyone is blocking their TG & the hospital time is the same as doing other mission too.
By the way not related to TG shop or bundle in this topic, there are a few legendary gears offered free as update gift & community reward too.

Didn't they also offer Tyreese's Hammer as a legendary weapon in the TG shop? Or was that only epic?

It was a really long time ago. Not too long after the legendary Lucille was offered in the TG shop, I believe. It was nothing special though. No unique properties like Morgan's Staff or the pitchfork/spear, and the traits were just mehhh

I mentioned lucille in my 1st post, I bought one too and ended few TGs shy of getting another one, but at that time, I was damn lowbie. Not remember any other leg hero weapon, but I might forget or missed that.
My point is, that NG should make aviable epic versions of all those weapons, as those wont jeopardize their income(IMO) and will please many (almost) FTP players. Wide margin/Morgans staff will be one of my favourifes, follwed by some others.
