Yep, that's definitely what happens when I open 6 crates! I definitely don't get 4 common/uncommon pieces of scrap gear, 1 crate containing a grand total of 1 gold, and a level 21 rare bruiser bat in my gold chest.

I can only open 3 crates, until I work out why I have no ads, so I guess I won't be finding many components soon

It does look like badges/components will be part of the standard rewards for The Distance based on other screenshots and the icons currently showing in our missions tab, but probably for reaching milestones rather than improved crate drops.

And yes, I do remember the highly misleading Governor trait video...

I'm going a bit past that now. About to do a clean install. Just waiting for batch backup to finish.

But downloaded game on phone and ads are there. So I'm setting the tablet up the same as that for tonight.
