The start of Hero Week tomorrow is just another example of what really chafes my ass about communication from NG. How many people asked last week (myself included) if we could get a rough approximation as to when Hero Week would be? I (and others) just wanted to know if it would be "soon" so we could decide whether to save some radios, and not spend them all on last week's Hero Fest. We got literally no response. So lots of people (myself included - shame on me) spent all their radios, probably thinking we have at least two weeks to save up, and now, bam, Hero Week begins literally 4 days later. I call BS on this. Yes, shame on me for not saving any radios. But shame on NG for clearly planning these events in a methodical fashion to get people to spend their saved up radios - at least a majority of them - last week, so that we would either have to spend money on radio bundles or simply miss out on Hero Week this week. I bought bundles during the last two Hero Weeks, but no way will I do so this time. I tend to be a more stoic person - not terribly positive, yet not terribly negative. But this week, I am finally joining the ranks of those loud complainers who have either quit, or are considering quitting. I've been playing since the first week of November 2015, and I've loved my time with this game, but it is this kind of crap, along with the grind (yeah, I had to throw that in there), the crap rewards, the never-getting-fixed bugs, etc., that has me hanging by a thread.

And to stay on topic, thanks for the lineup to go along with the announcement, NG. At least the poor communication is consistent.

I'm hoping Michonne will be included.
Need to pink her up and I have missed on the last M fest.

Also Abe, I'm not far from 2 pinking him up, fingers crossed.

Yes, coming. Not FOUR DAYS after the last event. Plus, as I stated, I did and do take responsibility for my own actions. It's my fault for spending the radios...4 f'ing days ago. But FFS, couldn't they just wait another week? No, they couldn't. And I have to imagine the timing of it was planned, as was the failure to communicate to us in advance. It's slimy.

Even if it was a couple weeks away, I would have saved my radios. I should be at 1000 by the time the event starts. Been saving since we had the last radio event. (Yes the one that ended early, which we never got compensated for) Hoping to double pink Abe and Sasha. Maybe pink michonne or Maggie too if they're available

The somewhat pessimistic side of me reads this as: "There will be a somewhat desirable hero at the beginning of the week and everyone will blow their radios on that hero. Then, someone even better will appear towards the end of the week when people are conveniently out of radios, and people will be forced to purchase radio bundles."

I think some of you guys are missing the point of my post. It's not necessarily that this event is 4 days after the last event (although I'm not too happy about that). It's the fact that plenty of people asked about the timing of these events JUST LAST WEEK so that we could plan accordingly, and they purposely ignored our inquiries. Why? Because then a lot of people wouldn't have spent radios over the weekend, and there would be less need to purchase bundles this week. Again, it's just a slimy tactic. That's what my gripe is.

If it's not Aaron included in Hero Week, than it's no very well surprise :d

Btw, today is Rufus 10 radio call, why? He should be included in hero week...

Yeah not announcing the lineup is pretty lame, especially considering the last 2 were announced in advance. That leads me to think they want us to blow our pile on the 1st one we see and then buy more for the next one we really wanted anyway. Im guessing if they announce it in advance they dont want people complaining the good ones already released aren't included and the same goes for those that we havent had yet. Logically those who werent included already should be the ones who will be released. That's the fairest thing. Yeah everyone wants to triple pink Sasha but cmon . Dont be too greedy.

Oh well, it's their game and their job to make money out of it I guess. Yeah, I've no doubt that a good hero will be early on, then maybe another one (or two) at the end of the week to encourage radio purchases.

To be fair, without monetisation this game wouldn't exist. There's no value to NG of people just spending their existing radios.

I interviewed for Head of Player Insight at Activision / Blizzard last year and the process was very interesting in terms of seeing how games development works. Particularly in the mobile arena, there is generally a very small pool of spenders that the devs need to milk money from.

My first 40 call ended with 2 green goblins and 32 Dwight tokens, never did another one. The only fun thing about it is that you can end up with twins,

if they've announce it last week it would make everbody happy. but not burn radios for 40 calls. and now a bundle for $59.99 popped out. yeah. they need money like the rest of us.

I agree that the radio event came quicker than expected and I myself regret using the 40call thinking this event would be a few weeks away.

But hey, I'm not going to let myself get upset over it. I do agree it could have been communicated better and odd the two events were close together.

Let's look at the positive side and hope that NG continues to have more radio events more often.

Did anybody remember which heroes didn´t have been included in the last two gold calls? I think someone posted it allready but I can´t find the thread.

Maybe this is an indication which one will come now? Maybe....

Didn't do any 40 calls as I knew hero week was on its way. Abe Glenn and Daryl is closest I got to pink so if they put any of those up I will use radios, if not keep on hoarding.

If Wal-Mart announced that in 2 weeks everything in the store would be on sale for 1/2 price, then everyone would stop shopping and not spend any money until the sale came.

How would that be good for Wal-Mart business?

It's not their job to tell us when and where the deals are, it's up to us to save and spend accordingly as smart shoppers.

true... The forum is meant for us to share strategies that can be used against us later on in the game. It's also used to air grievances that won't probably get answers, give suggestions that will most likely get ignored as well as warning people and sometimes even banning them for making jokes about things that someone might find offensive. I use it for a "time killer" while waiting for gas to replenish or for my cool down timer to end.

One thing the forum is definitely not meant for is relaying information
