She's not too bad, personally I like Punish and Retaliate but she'd be ok as a defensive bruiser.
Just depends on your playing style.

But retaliate doesnt Work in overwatch, and for Maximum damage reduction i Need defensive stance.
Would be cool to know if this overwatch/retaliate bug will be fixed or not

Retaliate does and should work in overwatch. I wasn't aware of any bug.

Hmm. You have my wondering now.
Maybe I should have said, it should work. I'll try to test it out myself, unless someone beats me to it.

Retaliate SHOULD work in overwatch, but it doesn't. It's extremely frustrating, and has been for a LONG time. It absolutely should have been fixed a long time ago. Hopefully, by the grace of god, they will fix it at some point.

    I got a question too ^^

I wouldn't pink her. I would want retaliate in there, for a bruiser used that way. Retaliate+Punish means a bruiser that can potentially stun 3 enemies in one turn without needing/using any charge points (and, with luck, thus accelerating the generation of charge points).. If I could only change one trait for her replacement, I'd drop ruthless and add retaliate. Firstly, bruisers should care more about how much damage they take rather than how much they hand out. Secondly, if you're going to use this browser to stand fast and hold the line, she'll be able to use powerstrike more often than ruthless.

But you want her mostly on overwatch, rather than actively attacking everything that approaches, you want defensive stance. So I'd lose powerstrike as well and replace it with defensive stance. Find warriors or scouts with powerstrike to stand beside her in the line; she can stop things, they can then use powerstrike without having to suck up so much damage themselves.

As it is, she's a hybrid more suited to a roving stun+damage role. But powerstrike is then wasted; for that role I'd want to drop powerstrike and add retaliate. Then you have somebody who can mix in the fight alongside your damage dealers and cause a lot of dismay to the enemy.

As it is, she's not bad but not pink.

Retaliate actually does work in overwatch, but only when the walker which triggers it hasn't moved. Less than ideal since it basically means you intentionally walking next to one and going into overwatch right next to it. Or on archives since walkers are next to you after the 2nd move

@WellyLuga , that's interesting, I've never noticed that. Of course, I never walk right up next to a walker and just overwatch instead of attacking, so that might explain why. Either way, it should work on overwatch all the time, and it's terribly annoying that it does not - it really diminishes the value of what should be one of the best traits. Don't get me wrong, it's still a great trait, and a must-have on most melee survivors, but it could (and SHOULD) be so much better.

IF ! this Problem will be fixed, retaliate and punish are Must have bruiser traits i guess ^^
Maybe @Kaz knows if there is a fix for the problem in Work or we just have to live with it

Yes, and no. Punish is a friggin awesome trait, and I love it. However, it can get you into trouble if you use a bruiser with punish to open gates/doors/etc. If a walker happens to situate itself next to that bruiser while he/she is in the process of opening a door/gate, he/she will stop trying to open the door/gate and whack the walker, causing you to have to start the countdown on the door/gate all over. I've had this happen to me enough times that I no longer use my punish bruiser to open doors/gates at all. But that's really the only bad thing I can say about it - other than that little quirk, I love that bruiser, he's one of my favorite survivors.

Hmmm, don't know why my "quote" feature didn't work on that last post.

Anyway, I also forgot to mention....overwatch, retaliate, and punish do not all work together. I think that is a result of retaliate not working with overwatch. But, if you think about it, you SHOULD be able to potentially triple hit a walker. 1) Overwatch hit 2) retaliate (only on tanks, or where your overwatch hit is a bodyshot), 3) punish. Would be awesome to see that!

@WellyLuga has it correct. I used a Bruiser in overwatch in between two Assaults on Archives and on a stationary walker he'd get overwatch strike, punish and retaliate. I was really surprised the first time it happened (actually it was really cool to see it) and was able to replicate it.

@Cronus Could you post a video of your Bruiser getting an Overwatch Strike, followed by a Retaliate Strike, followed by a Punish Strike? I've seen it tried in the past, but the Bruiser was only successful in getting 2 Strikes (Retaliate and Punish Strikes). I'd test myself, but I don't have a Bruiser with Retaliate and Punish and none of the Heroes have that combination either.

I'll give it a go. The Archives is where I had it happen but obviously not map specific.
Edit: I also have to get to a level where the overwatch strike doesn't stun or I get hit by a 2nd walker to initiate retaliate on the same turn.

@Cronus I was able to do some limited testing with Negan to see if the combat mechanics have changed (minus Punish) and here is what I found:

    - If I go into Overwatch with 1 space or more between Negan and the Walker, the Overwatch Strike triggers, but not the Retaliate Strike.

    - If I position Negan right next to the Walker with no space between the two and go into Overwatch, the Retaliate Strike triggers, but the Overwatch Strike does not trigger.

Not conclusive of course because in your scenario you have another variable (Punish) involved. Looking forward to your results, because it would somewhat change the way I view Retaliate preferentially on Bruisers with Punish.

@tabernac I did some tests and the closest I came was an overwatch strike that stunned a walker, a second non-stunned walker advanced and attacked me, dodge fired (of course) and then punish fired and took out the walker. From what I experienced before (last time Archives was run) if dodge had not fired then retaliate would have. Yesterday I tried multiple different scenarios in overwatch and not once could I get overwatch strike, retaliate and punish in the same turn and there were plenty of opportunities for retaliate to engage. Overwatch strike and punish, yes, all the time. This week I'll put my bruiser in the center spot on Archives and see if I can replicate again. Otherwise it no longer functions in overwatch (retaliate & punish) or I'm just flat out misremembering.

Hmmm, I see 256 tokens. I have a level 11 legendary bruiser with killer traits. I am still deciding whether to upgrade her or not
