Should PL68 be getting level 22 gear from cinema?

But I will tell you this, you may want to sit down for the answer....... I just had myself a mild conversation on the same subject with other areas of rewards vs lvls.

the only place that max level gear is guaranteed if you are max camp level is in tg shop purchases of leg or epic gear crates

gold boxes from any play type do not guarantee max level rewards. boxes after mission are somewhat dependent on level difficulty, but there is no point where lvl 24 gear is guaranteed.

I know all of this. I've been around for a while and understand the general mechanics of how item levels are determined.

But for end gamers (e.g., max player levels), gold crates from cinema and guild rewards have typically contained max level OR the level below max. It seems like getting max minus TWO breaks with what has traditionally occurred.

Since rewards are pre-determined is it possible that you....

1) Had started an upgrade
2) Started watching this ad while your camp was still lvl 67
3) During the 30 seconds while you watched the ad your upgrade finished bringing you to lvl 68
4) Opened the crate from the ad and found a lvl 22 item

This would explain why it would be lvl 22. If you started the ad at camp 67 that reward was pre-determined to be lvl 22 or lvl 23, you then watched the ad while simultaneously your upgrade completed and that's why you got a lvl 22?

This is the only explanation I can come up with.

Good thought @DLich - but unfortunately I've been at PL68 for about a week now. This is sadly the third level 22 leg item I've gotten from a video crate since hitting PL68, but I forgot to screenshot the first two times.

Is it too much to ask for if I request that you overcorrect and make up for the level 22 gear I've been getting by guaranteeing level 24 gear? We get legendary gear so infrequently from the cinema anyways, so it only seems reasonable

I asked this question to help desk back when I got lvl 21 gear from a few deluxe challenge crates after 2.9. Was told they couldn’t do anything. So dont hold your breath that they’ll fix it
