The writing in this show has improved leaps and bounds over the past couple seasons, whereas the parent show seems to be deteriorating at a steady rate. It really hurts to say that I'm losing hope on what used to be my most favorite TV show and with a not so convincing season 8 finale, I'm really not looking forward to watching season 9, especially if the writing continues to be as bad.
And on FTWD, I'm not gonna say much, this show really is turning into a beacon of hope and seems to be very promising. The entirety of Season 3 and the first two episodes of Season 4 will clearly highlight what I'm talking about. So don't miss it! ;)

    I absolutely agree.
    Fear becomes better, while TWD doesn't.
    Season 8 was better than 7, but I still hope that TWD goes the direction like the first three seasons.

    After this episodes death it's not great anymore. Now both dead shows are dead to me. Time to find something else to watch.

    had nooooo idea how good the FTWD got bc i gave up halfway into season 2... then came back around to it a few weeks ago right b4 the premiere, and HOLY SHIT did it get leaps and bounds better at the end of season 2 through season 3.... and now the new characters got me HOOOKED love Dorie

    Doesn’t matter. Whether you mention names or not you still mention that someone dies. And based off of your reaction, it’s a strong possibility of it being someone important. It’s a spoiler either way

    Well then since you're so sensitive, I'd suggest to you or anyone else to not view TWD forums and especially TV TWD sections if you don't want to see TWD conversations. That just makes good sense.

    Lol not sensitive just looking out for other people. While I totally agree with you about not visiting this particular section of the forum until you’ve seen the episode (which I did), I know some people may not do that. It’s just a common curtesy that’s all I’m saying. And it’s really not that hard to do.

    If someone knows that they haven't watched the latest episode yet then you stay away from any mention of TWD. You don't come here and actively seek out TWD conversations and then be surprised and angry because you found TWD conversations. It's not like I showed up at your house and forced you to have TWD conversations with me.

    Anyway, it's not important enough to continue on about. I'm sure you did have good intentions.

    Cannot very well talk about the TV show without actually talking about it.

    So spoilers in the TV show section are pretty much a given.

    I mentioned an event that happened on FTWD in a conversation, with someone that has never watched the show they got all ( insert word here) complaining about me spoiling it, anyway yes I also agree FTWD was almost painful to watch at 1st but has become much better last season and this season, hope I haven’t ruined it for anyone ;)

    Nick wouldn't have been killed, he asked to leave. He was and is an irreplaceable character. They said he wanted to leave to pursue other things. I hope it's worth it. Whatever his reasons, this is a major hit show, you can't just walk away. Stay and let it play out. What's better than this at this point? Only he knows.

    Im loving Morgan in ftwd. Does anyone else wish he would just say "hey guys I know a guy who can take you all in" rickkkkkkkkkkkk or is it just me that screams that at the tv each week 🤔
