Looks like three main characters are leaving the show after season 9.

"Andrew Lincoln, the main star of "The Walking Dead," is reportedly leaving the show after Season 9, according to ComicBook.com citing multiple sources. And Lincoln, who plays Rick Grimes, may not be the only cast member to exit.

Several other cast members are also in the final years of their contract, including "Black Panther" star Danai Gurira, who has played Michonne since Season 3. Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie, is only contracted to appear in six episodes in Season 9, which is currently in production."

    I'm hoping it's a hoax,Andrew Lincoln or AMC haven't confirmed it,will be sooo gutted if it's true,the show started with Rick and it should end with Rick.

    It's probably true. I just wonder if they'll kill them off or makeup a story about them just going away somewhere else.

    Looks like they killed off CORAL too soon. The storyline won't be able to continue.

    Heard it's gonna carry on with Daryl being leader,he's a great right hand man but no leader,what's he gonna do ? give instructions by starring and nodding

    Like I said in another thread, if the show had ended with season 8, I'd be content. But now that Rick might be leaving, I say that with even more conviction. Rick IS The Walking Dead right?! Ugh, we'll see, TV is what TV is I guess.

    I think Daryl will be a good leader but the show is near a end 😱 I’m sooo sad it’s the best show ever and I want to see it for another 30-40-50 more years ps that what the website said , if Daryl very does die that enough of walking dead I think because they already lost people watching the show with Chandler Riggs dieing my mom and dad and sister and brother stoped watching it from that but I didn’t but if Daryl dies I would hey I opion is that the show is done for when rick leaves if he does
