Closing Time

Does anyone have any advice on Closing TIme (or better yet, videos)? I have tried that map on 31.1, 8 or 9 times now, with all different teams, and I simply cannot avoid taking a bruise. There has got to be a way to 3-star this godforsaken map, and I would appreciate anyone who has done so speaking up about how to do it. Normally, I wouldn't care, and I'd just move on, but thanks to the UC, I'm still in 2x star rounds, so I really don't want to give that up if I don't have to.

Thanks @bladgier, but Morgan took a bruise in that video, which is exactly what keeps happening to me. I can beat it easily, I just can't 3-star the bastard.

Oh, I see, that's a higher RSL, so he probably wouldn't have if it were 31. For what it's worth, I've done that exact team several times and still can't do it. Morgan and my top regular bruiser both have nearly 80% DR, but I don't have a third bruiser with high DR. Guess I'm F'd, and will just have to move on. I really hate that map.

Nice, thanks @Mystique. I actually just beat it with a very similar team (Sasha, Abe, shooter). I actually cruised through it easily. Of course, at the gate, all spawns came from the bottom. I think that's the key to that map - if you can get really lucky and avoid top spawn, you should be in good shape. Otherwise, you're SOL. I repeat: I really hate that map.

It appears that if your team is closer to the bottom along the wall of the map, the spawn will appear at the bottom and not at the doorway next to the gate. At least one team member needs to be one space down and past or equal to the wood dance floor. I hope that helps. Bit late, but might help others.

What about sanctuary? That map has been holding me up all day.

Sanctuary I've seen people using Sasha and 2 assaults. I started to struggle and I decided to take a bruiser along, my assault has revenge so that helps with extra charges. It's a bit of a bloodbath map! I try to hug the top wall and fight my way to the end and they bottle neck there. If I reach the far side chances are I'll pass the mission.

I've been trying it with Sasha and 2 assaults also and I've gotten within one move before getting taken out. I'll keep trying this combination and might get lucky.

Yeah sooner or later you can't beat it with 3 stars... y'all gonna have to learn to LET GO... PLEAASE LET GO...!!
