How does a guild leader transfer leadership?

Our guild leader wants to transfer that status to another member - is there a way of doing this?

    Yes, it's pretty easy. From your Guild Chat screen, select the name of the person you want to transfer leadership to. Then, click the "Promote to Leader" button on the name screen for that person. They then accept and take over. That's it!

    I have done this when others want to spend gold to advertise and I was out of gold.
