NG, you are making a big mistake on Guild war! System select hero and survivor based on pink star?

@Kaz you need express this huge concern to your boss that you guys are making a big mistake on opponent selection! I think most players here previous use Sasha for high level Challenges why? Because her leader trait. But that is against stupid zombie not smart player! You guys need to at very very least allow user to select the defence hero and survivor and weapons, because it is defence not going aggressive against zombies or stupid freeman.

I am really hope you guy make a huge fortune and this game goes along with a long life, with making the guild war against people more fun definitely will make that happen!

Other suggestion at very least you guys can consider:

1. make a playback system on ACE battle (player vs player) so we could learn from mistake not put hero like Sasha as leader to play against player
   
2. active the charge attack by bots (initially I do hope it is real time player controlled battle, but that is not a reality for sure) for against opponent leader, why? If powerful leader like Carl die, rest of his team no longer have the leader trait, which is huge on ACE battle.
   

Some background on me, I am a Senior master Starcraft 2 real time strategy player and love to play NML game my level is 70 with pink star new rick and many 8 pink star survivor. Thanks a bunch!

It will be interesting to see who the system selects for me. I have some "older" 3-pink survivors I haven't retired, but don't have ideal traits. I have some 2-pink survivors that I prefer over them. I guess I'll make due with who I get to play with.

I get it from the pain walker interview, boss said he do not want ppl to be bothered by defence selection, however the defence selection is a very very key process of the people vs people fun, it is not throw Sasha into against player process at all not to mention the survivor traits

if the idea is to save ppl's time, then make it default of auto selection but with option to do manual selection, remember before the real battle begins, there is a ton of time!

For info,
I believe when Carl dies, his leader trait is still active for the remaining survivors.
(Assuming he was leader to begin with)(in distance it works like that)

I for one am not looking forward to coming up against some the sashas I've seen the "show me your Sasha" thread! And all those defensive abes are gonna be hard to kill!

Nothing is set in stone and every feature can be improved. No reason to panic or be emotional about it. Let's play it on Saturday, see how it goes, share your thoughts with us and we can adjust the things that need adjustment.

We had 2 playtests with players and we've changed a lot of things already based on their feedback, so don't worry! The first war might go a bit clunky, but next battles should be fine already.

@Kaz any plans to put a random group generator in future so for those that play late night can do it, or the up to 6 that get locked out if 14 are saved?

@Kaz as long as you guys are open for suggestions, we will be OK eventually! But this defence selection is really lack behind, i know for sure a lot of ppl will mentioned it after picking it after watching the footage and description

I just wanted to note for everyone that has an issue with the game picking your defenders.. keep in mind that yes it may make your defenders “ideal” if you can choose, it also will make any humans you fight that much harder too.. sooo!
