Lessen the player requirement??

After ALL the encouragement in the world, i can never get more than 3 players at a time to join guild wars. Would it be possible to consider lessening the player number requirement? It’s frustrating, as no one in my guild seems interested in playing.

Same experience here. We played one war and have spent the rest of the weekend waiting for that seventh player to sign in...

The same happened to my guild battle after battle. I managed to play three times but some of my guild never got to play once.

We managed to get in 4 battles. Tried many other times to only get 4-5 ready.

I think having a 5 min and 7 max would have worked better for us.

GW seems to encourage changes in guilds to make them more synchronous. That makes some sense if their traffic shaping prefers it. It's not great if that leaves global guilds out of GW.
I'm on record in another post that the access to content is a problem. For my folks, that's just a gas and money block: we get to play (and have yet to lose), but we have almost no chance to ever finish.
It's far worse in your space: You don't even get to experience it.
As I posted: choosing to play GW will mean that guilds change, players commit to it by discarding their typical routine, or players pay to do it all.
The reason I posted: Your guild can't use any two of those options without life choice sacrifice: You can't buy a war and you can't build one together without letting the game dictate your wake hours.

Maybe NG should have split the world (two or more 'servers')? That would have cut half your world away... But maybe that's easier than using game-logic judo to make you feel like the costs and losses are all on you?

I agree with all the comments before mine.
I think GWs are great fun. But my guild is located in different time zones. We managed to be on for 3 times- good stuff! But everyone was frustrated because we would get stuck waiting for that 7th player to join. If we can’t lower it to 4 people or joining other guilds to play we will give up.
Please make an adjustment so we can play!
Also not happy with the gas prices, need to win it in challenges more.

Same here. Guild is divided between North America, Europe, Australia. Hard to find common time slots. A couple times we managed to get into battle when some joined to let others play even they themselves couldnt play.. But of course its impossible to beat team of 8 or 9 with only 4 or 5..

Lower starting minimum for team to three or four. Our guild is international and it's hard to get together at a certain time.

To start I want to say I did get to play guild wars and it was very fun . A think many people agree with me . The tough part was spending the time and effort to be able to play gw. for many the cost was just to high and they did not get to experience the new fun! Game mode .
Please guys and gals guild wars was set up to bring guilds together . A big part of the entire concept gets lost if the starting requirements are reduced two much.
I agree they need to be reduced but let’s ask for a step by step reduction thus maybe reduce it to six to start eight max. If that works, great ( And I think it will) if not go to five to seven beyond that it seems to me a huge part of the guild wars concept is lost

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all

Don't forget the multipliers that apply with smaller teams, folks.
20 guild members don't divide by 7, so the current team efficiency is two, 10-member teams playing 6 keys x 2 teams: 12 battles by guild.
If, say, 4 is enough... Then five, 4-member teams can play 6 keys x 5 teams: 30 battles by guild.
Sure, with all the limits on success (gas, healing) it might mitigate. But consider guilds that would clear even with 4 members (due to money or power level). That's a real gain of potential earnings that could break the relevance of the leader board (for those who care).
    12::30 ratio is SIGNIFICANT.

All that said: the system needs to let folks experience the game mode, as I wrote above.
It's just not as simple as reducing team-size requirement.

Me personally I think it’s right where it should be, if you can’t get 7 people together to play guild wars then why play? You want to risk going in with 6 or 5 then get spanked by 10??? Then you’ll be complaining about match making. Makes sense? Or maybe you need to work with guildmates to figure out battle plans?

Reducing the minimum number of players required (7) is fine with me but leave the max at (10).

My guild ran a few battles with ten players but we weren't able to find & kill all enemies.
I think this would be a goal for many guilds.
Reducing the max (10) would mean this would be virtually impossible.

I know many won't like my opinion, but I think 7 is about right. You don't actually need 7 players online at the time the battle starts just 7 keys contributed. If your guild has some players that meet the lvl 12 requirement but are afraid to fight they can at least contribute a key. Eventually they will move up. And GW is not PvP, its supposed to be a joint effort. If you don't have enough guild members to compete, maybe search out a new guild. If you like your guild then its your decision to stay with it. Or convice your guild members to join in.

Up until now TWD No Mans Land has been an individual member game. Now the developers have taken it to a communal game. My guild members have never talked among them self this much. And if you like it the way it was you can continue. For me I've played and enjoyed the game for a long time, but I like it even more now.

Agree on what´s been mentioned - trying to get 7 together is frustrating, 4 is possible as some of us in other countries or, offer the possibility of creating ALLIANCES between Guilds. Once in it was fun but begging others to get started is totally unacceptable.

I am in a guild of 20 people from all over the world (USA, Spain, Norway, India) and we all got to use as many of our keys as we wanted to on both days. Anybody that can't get 7 together needs to step their game up or find a new guild. Me and my girl were part of the same guild for almost 2 years and we left to join a bigger guild because there was only 4 of us and nobody ever played. Git gud

I think 6 is a good number. I managed to use all 6 keys and our guild was active, but it was a case of better use my key as don't know if there will be another chance. With 6 being able to start a mission it will make it much easier to organise and Co ordinate a mix of people with more and less keys/gas/skill levels.

I guess I am just lucky cuz I'm in an active guild and a lot of us happen to live on the east coast so coordination was easy.

Our guild made sure 7 were signed in, even if they aren't playing just to give others a chance to have a go......worked well for us
we managed to play 7 ☺
