The winning guild has almost nothing to do with skill/survivors/strategy. He who has the most gas wins, simple as that. I hope that gets changed somehow...

There is tactic. It’s like smoking out the enemy in each sector to expose and kill. Very fun. But need gas.

Agreed there are tactics but they are meaningless if the other team has say double the gas

Can't even get started. All my team mates are spread out across time zones and we can't get 7 at a time. Is there a reason it takes 7 or is that an arbitrary number? Couldn't teams be matched based on how many show up?

It's about gas AND participants. We had a battle today with 5 people versus 10, and another with 2 (plus 2 latecomers and me with only 5 red gas) against 6. Obviously we lost both of those battles. But even so, we got to play, and we got some rewards. IMHO, this 'matching up' with another guild is meaningless. Just give us AI 'enemies' to fight, like they do with outposts, and don't compare us to another team when there is a mis-match.

OTOH, after a couple of these wars, the teams who always have a full complement of players/buy more gas will rise up in ranks, and hopefully not be matched with the teams who have a difficult time finding 7 players at once, who will stay in the lower Bronze tiers..

it is essentially money game, NG is desperate of money money money! Check out what SC2 is doing, play free, all tactic... Hanging around GW like this, I am going to 4v4 on my SC2 and not buy any weapon from now on

How did you battle with less than 7 players?

We saw something similar with one of our opponents; it was an 8 v 6 matchup. I didnt understand how there were only 6 players on the other team either...

Also, we had another match with 8 or more participants from our side, and one of my guildmates, was clamoring for "one more, or we couldnt play."she said her screen was only reporting 6 players had joined the match. We all played, her included, but her stats tracker didnt register a single one of her earned points, or the 8th team member either..

So, there's definitely still some bugs to be worked out.

Probably 7 or more signed up but only 6 turned up?

My guild has the issue of points not registering too and I have reported it in the Game Bugs section.

looks like ken, aban, and aj82786 used 1 of their 3 keys so their other teammates could go to battle. i did that for my guildmates on a day that i had to work. i didnt go to battle with them but it allowed them to at least be able to go to battle.

We had the same thing happen to us. There were 8 of us but only 4 showed up in the opponents side. I thought it was who ever contributed a key would show up in the list. They didn't have to fight but they contributed a key. So how does the opponent show up differently and with only 2 active players and 3 zeros.

Out of the 3 battles we was able to play...first two had 7 sign up but only 5 actually on to play. Third one I signed up but told them I would not be around to play if they got in. When I came back earlier than I thought I jumped in mid battle and they was playing with 4 against 8 I think. I helped clear a couple maps before timer ran out but all 3 we lost pretty easily.

I still had fun trying it out and should be better once NG considers all the feedback and makes changes.

The ones who donated keys but didn’t play showed up on the list as contributing 0. We did that too. I am talking about there are only 5 total players on their list. Only 2 were active. Where is the rest of their team? They should have 7 names on the list whether or not they played. I scrolled down but they only had 5 names, 2 of whom were active.

i see what ur talking about now. i just thought there were more players below with 0 but now i see at the bottom edge of screenshot that there were no more players even listed. maybe it's 1 of the glitches that they're working on. at least this post makes them aware of it.
