In the update on guild war info Stevie clearly wrote 10 guild war gas from the distance on Tuesday and 10 guild war gas from the distance on Saturday . Awesome new add to the game but maybe NG should stick with what they said they would do please voteye

There is 10 gas in hard mode but only 5 gas in easy mode. It wasn’t stated that the gas distribution would be different. The Winter token amounts were the same in both modes so it caught people by surprise when the red gas rewards were different.

BULLSHIT you didn't realize the different amounts between difficulty modes. I pointed out on the very 1st Saturday that the Distance versions rewarded different amounts of GW gas and as far as I can tell I was the first advocate to have them offer the same amounts. You went on to agree with several posts that basically said "higher level players should get higher level rewards", even though that had nothing to do with my post. Your agreement with them however, also indicates you knew of the difference in GW gas between different Distance difficulty modes and you are clearly lying here and trying t o maintain some position in your high horse.

I'm not afraid to call people out when they are full of shit, yourself included. It wasn't stated specifically that gas distribution would be different, however it WAS stated that doing the Distance would earn a player 10 GW gas. This implies 10 GW gas regardless of difficulty, OR it implies that the developers at NG are only thinking of high level players that are able to complete Hard mode (since information regarding Normal mode was seemingly not important enough to include) and that supports my claim of an inherent bias towards high level players.

Back to the main topic: Yes, it's 5 in the normal mode and 10 in the hard mode. When we recorded both videos (Painwalker interview and our own) we knew that none of the numbers said were set in stone, and they aren't still.

We are going to try another War where you can get 20 gas from the challenge, 10 from the hard distance (20 if you restart it) more from the guild shop and more from the Trade Goods Shop (purchasable with gold and available only on Sunday if I'm not mistaken). This is the second time we are running, so let's see how it goes and we can discuss further adjustments if needed.
