The Guild Wars is just not worth my energy anymore. 1st NG chooses to release this at the worst possible time, during the holidays when people are busy or on the road. Then you're also participating in The Distance and The Challenge, plus trying to encourage your Guild to participate in the Guild Wars only to never have enough on the roster to even get your team in the battle, so you constantly get messages from NG reminding you that you don't have enough to play, so you harass your Guild some more, all the while you're really supposed to be a low pressure kind of guild!
I DON'T THINK I CAN DO THIS ANYMORE NG!!!

    Agreed. With everything going on, trying to max out challenge stars for your guild, doing the distance for gas and tokens, all the uncertainty of when a battle will take place and feeling pressure to help out your guild and participate. That's a lot of stress and time all at once where you almost have to plan your life around the game.

    they need to drop the teamwork requirement. just let us hit those maps at our convenience. stop holding valuable prizes hostage.

    It’s to much to commit an entire weekend waiting to see if you get a full team. Bamf, some of us have a busy life outside of the game.

    @Chilidawg it takes your team an entire weekend to get together to do a guild war? What is your guildmates doing when they play the game? Why complain about not having people when the title speaks for itself? It’s called “Guild Wars” if your guild mates can’t commit then stop coming here crying about it. Keep it real. Lowering the amount of players will have y’all up in here bitching when y’all get blown out by 10 player teams. Stop it.

    Just coz your guild can play 12 battles doesn't mean everyone can some ppl have work..life..family also Christmas and new year is a very busy time for some of us

    So you think some of our players don’t as well? Cmon now we all have real life stuff going on but we communicate and take initiative to set up battle plans, you know stuff a real guild is supposed to do? Idk maybe making excuses is easier to do though......

    Hi there xbamfx and welcome back!

    For our guild the issue for some of us are work schedules and time zones (same for many I assume). We setup a sign up sheet so we can better organize but with some tweeking to GW it would be much easier to get more participation.

    We are going to continue to work internally to resolve the issue best we can for ourselves and I am happy that you guys are able to coordinate so well (I see you guys are killing it!). If you have any suggestions that would help I would surely be grateful to read it!

    Personally I don't see the comments here as complaining but instead I see it as passionate people who want NG to make adjustments. That said I am open to criticism and suggestions so that we can make things easier and enjoyable for all of our guilds 😉

    The most active guilds get to play the most guild wars.

    That part I have no problem with.

    If your guild isn't active enough, say goodbye and find another.

    What I DO have a problem with is active guilds still having their play limited by too expensive guild war gas.

    Pay to win still in full effect here... More than ever.

    No leader, or elder can force guildmates to adopt external chatrooms and planning micro-details like agreeing to specific times.

    Guilds have formed over months and years, based on the format of Challenge, as it has evolved, so membership requirements (usually minimum stars) have been tweaked.

    GW will undoubtedly affect this. But it wouldn't be right to alienate long standing members, particularly at Xmas, with tight schedules everyone must follow. This really only applies to when GW is actually in play, but VERY effective.

    But recruitment suddenly becomes a non-issue the moment GW starts. I wouldn't dream of having join status set to open at weekends before. But that made the difference for us.

    The other thing that made a difference was begging players to sign up even if not playing. However, on one battle, people missed out because it was full, but with 4 players not scoring. Separate thread incoming on that one ;)

    It's been frustrating. But with a lot of effort and encouragement, I managed to use all 6 keys, and spectated a final battle after. We had the same problems getting enough, but managed to overcome them, but not without lots of frustration and "damnit"s, at the start of most hours.

    To everyone bitching and moaning about the player requirements of GW or "I don't have time", you're just making excuses and whining like little babies. I work 40 hrs a week, have a wife that's sick and a son I take care of, and my guild has players ALL OVER THE WORLD (Cali, Hawaii, East Coast, MidWest, Norway, Spain, etc.) If you didn't get to play guild wars you need to leave your pathetic guild behind and find one that will suit your needs or shut the hell up and stay in your lane SILENTLY.

    @vshield50 I appreciate your comment and agree with plenty of what you said but again this entire thread was made to voicing an opinion about not having enough players to play. That may be a valid complaint by many and makes sense if you’re in a casual guild, my fear is all that complaining will force NG to lower the number requirement to participate in guild wars.

    My problem with that is I affects the entire game mode and by no means do I want to face teams of 3-5 players against 10. We played a bot for 1000 points and it was lame and a waste of a key. All I’m saying is I disagree with that comment and to assume our players don’t have lives or real world situations is laughable. We are just better at coordinating.

    As @Kaz stated there are many valid issues with “GUILD WARS” but remember it’s guild wars not 3v3 4v4. We would like to ask can the amount be increased! Some players almost didn’t get to use a key on the final battle because not enough players were left over lol 🤣. Anyway it’s a difference of opinion. If it gets changed to less then 7, I won’t play NML any longer as GW is the best thing to happen to NML. My 0.2 cents

    I played five times this past weekend. My complaint is that it took ALL weekend. I just don’t have the time to commit for this. This is the slow season for me. Come spring I will not be able to play at all or very little if any during the weekend.

    By the way you are a negative person. Instead of finding solutions to problems you just insult people.

    People have valid concerns over this. And your basically telling them to stfu. A lot of guilds would have had people missing at this time year. We definitely did.

    Without the bonus boom to recruitment GW gives, we'd have probably not even got 1 battle. We've gained superb members we wouldn't have had without that in both GW. For sure, some dead weight came in, but it's easy to see who has guild etiquette and who doesn't.

    This is a situation that needs consideration by NG but imo not by reducing the minimum. I already made an alternative suggestion btw.

    On the plus side guild wars can really bring a guild closer as communication is key. We have ppl who never said a word now chatting all the time . ;-)

    I played both days, Saturday and Sunday the same way.....got in on a battle first thing in the morning after I got up.....spent the entire day with family from out of town and then played 2 more battles in the evening.... one about 7pm and another about 9. So I'm really not sure how some are using an entire weekend on the battles. I spend more time per day on weekly challenges. I have tons going on this time of year and didn't have a problem using all 6 of my keys. It just takes some coordinating within the guild to figure out who can play when. If you have an active guild with solid communication it's not that hard.
