Several hours in a row 5 or 6 signed up and then finally a battle. Then a few more hours pass with my entry and several others. We eventually got some battles with gritted determination to play, and some of us spent most of the weekend on it.

You are telling people they are stupid with your post. You are telling people that every guild has to be the same as yours. Guess what, a guild is up to 20 people who until 2 weeks ago, could happily log in and play when they feel like it, so long as they get their stars. Then it's Xmas week and there is reduced numbers unless you kick them for being with their families. I would hate to be in a guild run as a dictatorship.

Well this weekend was a total bust for our Guild. We battled once Saturday morning then couldn't get the 7. Call it whining or whatever you want Guild Wars is stacked in favor of the higher level Guilds with more competitive players. I set up a sign up sheet on our line chat, posted reminders all the way up to the start and then harassed my Guild all weekend. I have family I have to take care of myself so I had to come and go, so there were times the battles were about to start that I couldn't get back to be available. I know some of my Guild also have situations similar to mine and we can't stay glued to the game all weekend waiting for the battles to start. It's just unfortunate. I'm glad it's working for some of you, but you don't have to be total ass wipes to those of us that don't agree with your pompous opinions.

@I_Am_Psycho I don't post in forums very often but when I do the last thing I would want anyone to take away from one of my posts is thinking i'm implying that someone is stupid.

All I was trying to say is that not everyone wants the format changed. I personally like it the way it is. I was trying to say that we all have busy lives.....some use it as an excuse and some do not. If you can't get your guild mates to communicate and coordinate you're going to lose. It's that simple.

I'm not trying to belittle anyone or any guild. If guild wars doesn't suit your guild then don't play. I hate raiding outposts......I almost never do it...... only to keep myself above 5k. Others love it and stay on the leaderboard.....more power to them. To each their own.

You could find motivation to organize, or not play the game mode? Some days I don’t want to play distance or outpost, guess what I don’t play them. All that energy you’re wasting should be on getting ready for next war. I mean you have 2 weeks.......what do you need a month? 30 members? 50? An iTunes gift card? Figure it out psycho. 🤣

I’m just suggesting you should pour so much effort into becoming more enthusiastic and try to not insult others who aren’t experiencing as much difficulty as you are. I find it funny you want devs and others to express concern for your POV but insult others for theirs? Oh well. I just want you to come battle us and we’ll make you really quit the game.

No matter how much some guilds organize it can be difficult or unreasonable with work schedules and such to have a minimum amount to play the war at times.

Perhaps if there was not a maximum or minimum then everyone can play how they wish. Those who want to compete can schedule to have their whole guild play at once and others who just want to earn tokens for rewards can do the same. Perhaps NG can match battles based on how many are playing.

Seems that could be a balance for all but as I said before, I am grateful to hear criticism so that we can collectively come up with ideas to improve this game mode 😁🤗😁

Off topic I know but I know @braindeadizme pretty well (slayed with him before) and I can say that he is a class act guy and well intentioned. Sometimes things come across badly over text when it is meant to be well intentioned but I think in general this new game mode has emotions running high. Goes for many of us I guess.

I hope we can get back to looking at comments here as constructive means to improve the game mode and not take our comments (me included) as a bad blood or calling people out. We need to bring as many opinions as possible (even wild ones) so that NG can do right by us; their customers.

I take your point. There's been a lot of mocking from some elitist players on this issue, although not from forum regulars. When I saw comments about failing to see how it could take up an entire weekend, I was insencsed because I read that having literally spent my weekend making sure we got at least SOME action. And with good players away this time for the holidays, I'm feeling positive for the guild I'm with, for future war based on our improvements.

He may well have not intended to come across that way, and just said it at the wrong time, getting caught up in it.

I did feel I was being accused of not trying though.

Oh well when I hear someone say its to many required to play guild wars 7? That’s not even half a guild. I’m gonna call it whining, if I hear oh we don’t have time to do a war, it takes all weekend. That is whining, you’re literally begging the devs to change an entire game mode to fit your guild. NOPE 👎 try again. Same happened with challenge and same happens with distance and so on and so on. You can call it elitist, cocky, whatever. I say put your energy into actually getting a team together or don’t. If that comment doesn’t pertain to you and you’re actually giving it a go then cool. Guild Wars has gas issue and nothing else.

Guild wars is the best thing NG has done by far! I do understand the gas problem and FTP issues but other than that, it’s fantastic. It brings guilds together and it’s so much fun fighting together which is different aspect of the game! I don’t understand the critisim of time zones and getting people together when that’s the point of GW’s, team effort! We have people all over the world and I am on the other side of the planet and we made it happen! As for being constantly reminded of not having enough people if you don’t press guild wars, you wouldn’t have a clue if you have enough people or not. I just hope NG doesn’t change the good aspects of GW;s to accomodate the few!

I haven't complained about the Challenge or the Distance, not once. I simply requested, not whined, the number be dropped so smaller Guilds, who don't have the desire to become a mega guild, have a better opportunity to participate. The one time I did get to play I really enjoyed it and would love to play again. But I'm not going to badger my team to play, it's just a game. I will stick to the Challenge and The Distance before I get all worked up over this again.

I apologize if my earlier comment set a bad tone for this whole thread but I'm just fucking sick of seeing hella people WHINE and get their knickers in a bunch, instead of trying to coordinate their guild for the next war. Complaining about something isn't gonna help you get better at it. I'm afraid this whole forum is gonna turn into a nursery, with a bunch of crybabies wanting the devs to coddle them. I'll leave the forum if that happens. I like to come here to see others' strategy and tactics, not their bitching and moaning. Peace.

People have genuine issues here, many guilds including mine have people from all walks of life and finding a window when enough are available isn't easy especially when you include time zone difference.

Trash talk is for actual real time PvP games where there is some mutual bravado going on. I've been there and it can be a laugh. But this is not that. Not even close.

Please know that the issues that some are facing are not simple "coordination" issues.

I will speak for myself and my guild right now. You know me @xbamfx so I trust you know that I have been doing everything I can to coordinate for Guild Wars (others in my guild have too). We set up polling in LINE chat, saved peoples timezones and countries of origin in notes, created a seperate chat, talk daily, etc. We have a motivated group in my guild and the issue at the moment is simply down to work schedules and time zones. We either have plenty available or not enough. Short of calling employers and coordinating our work schedules we have diligently poured energy into this endeavor and we are not coming on here to whine.

Is there a guild solution for us? Of course. I could start removing loyal star earners and friends from my guild and bring in others members who can balance time zones and such for Guild Wars but that is not what we are about. I am not going to sacrifice star earners and family for Guild Wars. So instead we are looking for solutions to make it work just like you are @Xbamfx. If you notice I supported your idea for raising the maximum players allowed to play because I think that would be good for some guilds. Please at least see it from other prospectives as well and realize that there is a large client base here in NML. That all opinions need to be valued, all data crunched and decisions made to help the largest customer base to increase profits and customer satisfaction.

You did not say or accuse me of this but I am surely not posting on here to whine or look for the easy way out because I don't coordinate Guild Wars for my guild. I believe there are solutions available that can make GW work better for the community and I am not ready to put Guild Wars ahead of everything else since it is a weekend event every 2 weeks. Challenges are still our focus because of that.

Thank you for that very eloquently put post. What you've expressed are my sentiments as far as the Guild Wars, the Challenges at this point will remain my focus and respecting the wishes of the loyal and great people that comprise our Guild.
