Which heroes have you benched?

Just curious - we can’t scrap heroes, but I’d be interested to hear folks ‘fess up and say which ones you’ve pretty much abandoned, and at what level.... #tumbleweedheroes

I don't use the majority of heroes very often but I've left Ezekiel and Jerry at level 24.

All heroes but 3. Riot Gear Glenn, Survivalist Rick and Sasha are all you need in this game. The rest are NG minions to suck cash out of players.

I used to sacrifice Jerry and Ezekiel in The Distance on a regular basis to charge up my other survivors, but I've gotten better at beating that mode and don't need to do that any more. Haven't taken them off the bench in months. Jesus and Michonne will come off the bench occasionally, but I use them more on certain Challenge maps.

I unlocked jerry at level 18. I now have level 25 survivors but not jerry, he is still level 18, poor jerry.

Troublemaker

Jerry, Ezekiel, Tara, Carl, Daryl, Carol, Father Gabriel, Rosita, Rick, Sniper Morgan.

DrUnpleasant

Jerry, Ezekiel, Carl, Mullet Man, Gabriel (not bad, but not a priority) and Rufus.

The following are bench warmers, Unless needed for the Distance: Rufus, Jerry, Ezekiel, Scout Glenn (just because I don’t need tomatoes anymore) Eugene, Negan, sniper Morgan (because he only has 3*) shooter Rick and Tara.

Heroes that are Distance fodder: Rufus, Tara, Carol, Negan, Ezekiel, Eugene, Carl, Jerry, Merle, Gabriel.
Outpost defenders: Rick, Dwight, Daryl.

I still use Glenn when a new council upgrade drops and gathering supplies is important, otherwise he's on the bench. I use Gov and Maggie on early challenge missions just to collect extra XP. Rosita is my lead on Outpost raids. RGGlenn is only epic so he rides the bench. SMorgan and HDaryl aren't unlocked.

I use Michonne, SRick, Abe, Jesus, Morgan, Sasha, and Aaron the most on Challenges, depending on the mission.

EDIT: Oh I forgot one thing. I keep all my heroes at max level. One, when they pop up in dailies, I don't have to run season missions. The rewards from those suck and I find them to be a waste of time. I get what I need done by doing Outpost raids, much better rewards there. Two, it makes it more efficient for me to swap max level gear around when doing the Distance.

I use Daryl hunter ( because he was the first “ Hero “ and thus I invested a lot of effort into his growth... )

I use Rosita assault ( because she was the first “ Assault Hero “ whose traits would benefit a team, thus I invested a lot of time & resources in to her... )

I use Abraham assault ( better traits for some killing work... he is not as developed as is Rosita... haven’t had him as long... )

The rest are minimally used... ( I don’t advance them with “ phones / traits “ or “ Badges “ )

I don’t play to get, Stars or Guild War trinkets...

I like finishing off what “ chance “ has delivered to walkers... and bathe in the blood of the living...

As far as heroes go I only use RG Glenn Scout Rick Jesus and Abe, the rest are just bait. Negan Morgan and Mullett man with out punish are crap imo. Zeke is of no use cause I won’t accept a survivor with out retaliate. Wish they would give old hero’s new traits. When maxed Glenn has no use.

Abe, michonne, morgan, tara and governer are by far the most used for me.

Tara is my standard distance aid. My end game is her healing my strong survivors until she gets sacrificed when the walkers get to strong. She dies always, but for a good cause.

Rosita, daryl and dwight are in my outpost.

Sasha, aaron, Jesus and Rick are ok too

I just recently moved to level 70. Glenn is on the bench for all early-mid levels and the distance for the first time in ages. I plan to continue using Maggie and the Governor for getting xp.

I like to use Abe, Sasha, Merle, Darryl, Tara, and Morgan at different times for different reasons. Dwight and Rosita are in the outpost with a bruiser survivor.

My other survivors are not leveled up very well because I haven’t had the tokens to bring their traits up.

Sasha is the queen of ranged and Michonne is the queen of melee. I use the two of them the most. Stabby Rick and RG Glenn are both great but I find that I use them more often not in lead.

Morgan is awesome for those maps where you just gotta take a bunch of hits. Usually use him in lead with two other bruisers. Sucks he doesn't have punish or retaliate though.

Abe is overrated tbh. I'll use him as a second assault when I run Sasha and 2 assaults. He's a tank for me: all DR and health badges.

Aaron is a great shooter. Usually just use him as my second shooter on some maps where I run Sasha and 2 shooters.

Daryl is great when NG runs the reduced body shot event. Criticals everywhere.

I'll use Governor every challenge up until around RSL 30 just to get bonus xp in post-mission crates.

Jesus is alright but I haven't really used him since I started using Michonne. He might make a comeback now that melee is king. He'd be good for maps where I don't need threat reduction. Just gotta find some better badges for him...

I like to use a bunch of the damage boosting heroes for some Distance maps, but other than that they along with the others I didn't name just keep my bench warm.

I faced a team of ezikial Dwight and Merle with zeke (double pink) leading and it was the closest I've been to defeated in a long time. Shame never get a chance to get his tokens! Still unsure how this person ever got him double pink! Just looked and it was @salmon nice outpost!

That’s because who ever dislikes don’t know what they are doing. Unless you can match me in the game then there is no room to talk. However, I have all heroes from ledendary to 2 star pink. Only the Huntsman Daryl and new Morgan are epic. So I might know a little about what I say about the heroes. It’s all money driven for them to get your money to get heroes to play with. Been around before we had heroes and traits.

Does sometimes matter the map. When it comes to gate openers I have busted out Rufus, Jesus, Etc for the boost. But yeah Sasha, SR, RGG, Michonne, Jesus, New Daryl pretty much the go to hero's.

Anybody approaching rsl 40+ most likely use RGG, stabby rick, sasha, michonne, Jesus, stabby Daryl and maybe occasional Morgan bruiser On specific maps. I can safely say I know of most Nation Wars teams using these so I don’t know what the hell other people are doing with them 🤣. I agree @avelardez it must be people that are relatively new or mid tier level. I definitely think the other heroes are pure trash and don’t really feel like heroes.

Too long to list... I use Abe, Michonne, and Sasha on challenges. Half of the rest are Distance fodder... the other half will see game play when hell freezes over.

I've actually used Eugene on some high-level Distance maps where I need to run to the gate/exit. I'll use 3 bruisers with Eugene in the lead knowing the team can survive a couple of body shots to get out. It's rare, but in those cases, it works out well.

I almost never use any melee except in outpost runs. It just shows the wide range of play styles.

Someone said Abraham is over rated, but I use him and rosita the most just for crowd control with that wide arc of attacks. For distance I keep Abe as leader until I get past my own level and then I put Tara as leader to keep everybody healed up. Sometimes I swap in Aaron for the teamwork trait against the tough walkers. My go to team is Abe /Rosita /Tara.
