Dodge trait

So...
Its known dodge allows you to avoid attacks and melee attacks from ennemies and is able to turn a critical attack into a normal attack.
I don't know if i just got an hallucination, but i saw my bruiser with dodge trait, and dodge on his armor (bullet dodge and iron skin) change an attack into a body shot... Vs a +8 lvl Z (and i really saw 'bodyshot')
Is that really possible?
Can someone tell me more about Dodge? Even about Bullet Dodge as well?
Are these traits evoluate since last update?
What is there real function, finally?

    Did it also have the hazard suit trait armour? That has a chance to turn any attack into a body shot.

    Dodge gives you a chance to avoid all damage entirely. At a certain point (+3 levels) above you zombies will start to get crit hits, if that happens and dodge triggers it will turn it into a normal attack rather than dodging entirely. From +5 and up it's 100% crits so dodge is the only way to avoid that from happening.

    Bullet dodge doesn't exist on armor. Is it bulletproof maybe?

    Bulletproof is a chance at body-shot.

    Dodge and bullet-dodge can not cause a body-shot.

    Had to have been Hazard Suit. As others said, that trait has a chance to turn attacks against you into body shots.

    Walkers don't have guns and all Freeman are scouts, so maybe he is assuming it had to be hazard suit?

    Yes excuse me @jimmorrison369 is right, that was bulletproof on suit and not dodge bullet
    No, without hazard suit @WellyLuga, that's why I was asking.

    @zbot Morgan Bruise. I don't think that his leader trait affect the survivor for this kind of happening, do you?

    To make it clear:
    My bruise is retaliate, iron skin, power strike, dodge and lucky
    His epic suit is dodge, bulletproof and gold iron skin.
    I don't think that bulletproof affect at this case, 'cos it works for raiders that fire you...

    Sometimes, when Morgan bruiser is used as leader, this kind of thing can happen. If it helps, has happen to me too... I think it's some kind of bug related to his leader trait....
    Maybe the moderators can answer properly....

    About a year ago, bulletproof was working against melee attacks too. Maybe that bug is still around.
