I think that with the right skills, armor and gun with good traits would be a killer. But a very expensive killer. Somebody made it? Screen shots?

    Merle on my roster is epic and permanently assigned to the outpost....

    The problem with Merle is that you seldom need more than one shooter in a mission, and Aaron is slightly better even if you would reroll a lot of Merle's traits. Also you get a steady stream of Aaron tokens from the Distance so he'll be fairly well developed without any extra cost.

    Also I'm sure many players have a good non-Hero shooter for that second place in the shooter roster.

    Agreed. Aaron's trait is higher than Merle anyway isn't it? Even if Merle is slightly higher per level it is likely that most players have Aaron at a higher rarity anyway. My Merle is on the verge of 6*, Aaron is nearly 8*.

    Merle basically needs 4 re-rolls minimum and Aaron has nice traits as he is.

    Merle, along with Dwight, Rosita, Aaron and OG Rick etc, basically have the same LT and are interchangeable for the most part. In the case of Merle, I have had him ready to unlock for about 6+ months. Big investment required, for someone I would not end up using. I have a pink shooter (ruthless, lucky, MM, IS and SS) along with gold Aaron, they get the job done.

    The sad thing about Merle is that his LT wants to be used in the Challenge and Distance, but his regular traits wants Outpost or Guild Wars. He is very confused about his purpose in life, perhaps you should give him a hand and reroll a few traits. I would focus on other heroes first though.

    I thought the same thing but ranged are useless outside of Sasha, Abe, Rufus for me. I have some decent ranged but they are use less at high levels. That’s 44+ for me. These are mine. I took all there badges and put on my scouts.

    I'll get around to it someday. He's just not priority but with his trait he would be the best shooter.

    A lot of investment needed tho.

    There must be a strong killer in your camp. Who will not be afraid to take a hit and more from level 40. There are maps where it is needed, especially when there are mined zombies. But this is not yet a priority , as Atlas-z said
