I don't think we would want NG to take over, it should be a user.  So much of the knowledge is from playing the game everyday, grinding, sharing ideas through the forums/Discord/guild/etc., and trying new things to see if they work.

NG would never pay someone to do the work required to recreate and then do the day-to-day leg work to keep it up to date.  I also wouldn't trust that a corporation would share all the best info, especially if it was something that helped people spend less on the game.

Has to be a true user, and hopefully someone will pickup the torch.  Even if they start a new thread by copy/pasting the current guide (with Jayz's permission) and editing it from there.

i totally agree with you that it has to be a dedicated ongoing player, who doesnt mind sharing, and spending time and effort to keep up with the ever changing game

Maybe it's time to revisit the wiki idea, that way everyone can contribute and police and update

Maybe. But then there could be a ton of misinformation if literally everyone can update.

Yes, I see big problems if we go back to Wiki. While it's practical, if everyone can edit, everyone can divulge wrong information because of misunderstanding in the game.

I already got into discussion about 4 times in my guild because they insisted that Critical Chance affected Bodyshot Chance. And I bet there are still people there who think that.

Peeps are always like we should have Videos shared to help us! We should have a Wiki! Someone should share info about the weekend events ahead of time! Someone should give us sneak peaks at coming updates! We should have somewhere with all the best xyz etc so we can look!
