Does anyone already know what the weekend event will be?

Is there an increased chance of finding weapons? Otherwise this is pretty lame, gold crates should be legendary anyway.

Of all the gold crates I get 99.9% are xp so the chances of landing a unicorn armour or weapon will be slightly better than the chance of winning the lottery 👍🙂

Assuming the odds aren't increased it will be somewhere around 20% chance. Since most of us aren't max level yet there will also be a solid chance if we do get gear, it'll be level 26. Meh indeed

I'd like a free badge swap event, especially seeing as the last couple were on a Monday and Tuesday. I don't feel like swapping everything round on a weeknight after work, especially when TWD is shown on a Monday evening in the UK.

I think this is a bad event.. at least add jackpot to that so we can really use our gas boost that weekend

I'm probably just saving my booster for Monday now, knock out the Distance twice and then scavenge for tomatoes.

Yeah...bullshit event.

Run a booster at jackpot-event and run weapon/armor missions all the way with some gold in your pocket is much more efficient.

Hopefully all the armor in these crates will have less traits like Wrestler and Bullet Dodge and More Traits like Stun Resist and Iron Skin!!!

3.6+4.4=8 I’m not sure how you do math but that’s not 10% that’s 8%

Still imo not a very good event at all. What are odds of even getting a gold crate? Then to boot you have 18.49% chance of a legendary item. Then odds of that item being something useful is less than 1%. I could see this being combined with jackpot. Or I could see if it was increased odds.

@Fluxxx very easy idea to quickly make it more appealing: make it a 100% chance of legendary fragments/components.

Also, reduced unlock costs, but I won’t get greedy.

Typo, sorry. Yes it's 8%. We'll see how the event performs and is received, because improving afterwards is easier than nerfing (there would be a bigger backlash). We need to balance out events for our side as well. If you think about it, giving players a free booster, a jackpot event + only legendary gear in gold crates is a big boost for all players, in addition to the fact that there are events every week.
Also keep in mind that some events will be more beneficial to players at different levels and stages of the game.

Tbh I’m not really complaining just pointing out the math flaw, event isn’t that beneficial for a P2P. Not all events will be great and with Christmas around the corner I’m expecting deals similar to Thanksgiving and event just as good!

MAYBE OLD RADIO EVENT ON XMAS EVE!!! THE OLD EVENT where you could easily get 1k radios

But I do believe this event is flawed and the odds aren’t exactly eye popping. The fact traits are almost always not worth keeping I do believe the odds of gaining the “unicorn” are under 1%

Can you give us insight as to what other new events you are gonna attempt? Please hopefully nothing bad during Xmas

Cool. I'll be getting several new Training Gear + Bulletproof vests. That means I'll have at least two of every variation possible with that combination.

@Fluxxx it's appreciated that you guys are coming up with new events, but it's like @Drunken said the odds just don't seem that great.

My suggestion would be that if the odds aren't improved then perhaps this would be better as an event for Mon/Tues. I might actually consider scavenging for weapons if that was the case.
