    Thanks in advance,

Your people will die a horrible screaming death if I see them. I love killing crate blockers. :naughty:

Scouts won't help you much on defense. You want Hunters and Shooters (with a flare gun) who can light the enemy on fire and take away their charged attacks. Bruisers are also pretty good. All defenders need Gold Anti-Stun Armor. That's a must have.

I'd also pick a map where you can put your defenders behind cover to give them some damage reduction protection. You do have the right idea to spread them out. Just make sure they can all see the gate opening so they can react to that and get their shots in; otherwise, you risk getting them picked off one by one.

Bottom line: If someone wants to kill them, they will. Badges don't work on defenders. So, your best hope is to inflict as much damage as you can before you die. If the attacker makes a mistake or you get really lucky, you can walk away with the win.

    Good luck!

Not much to add to Governator's good overview, but put Carl in lead. His LT is perfect for outpost defense.

Use Carl as a leader + Bruiser close distance, and Hunter with fire gun long distance.

Outpost defense doesn't matter in the early game. It seems you will not lose any influence until you get close to 5000 anyway. And you will never lose TG from raids. If you spend TG getting more walkers that just makes it easier for raider to charge up. Spending resources on defenders levels or gear is a waste too. Better spend them on your best heroes, where it actually matters.

    Thanks @TJCart!
As I remember it it started happening for me around when I got to 5000 influence (slightly before).

I checked my alt, and it also lost influence. Only once in 65 days (17 raids) though, and only -3.

    For me, I lost influence in 8 out of 11 raids: -8, -8, -7, -11, -8, -6, 0, 0, 0 -7, -2

Not that it really matters, but it still speaks to the seeming randomness of how Influence values are determined for raids.
