    After seeing the new Obliterator with silver wide spread, I got an idea. How about a new dragon’s tongue with;

    Wide Spread (Silver)
    Lucky (Gold)
    Ensnare (Gold)

I think Wide Arc would be too big (would hit up to 12 enemies) but I think Silver Wide Spread would enable it to hit up to 8 enemies like the morning star.

Area of attack would look like this 👇 (posted by Atlas in another thread with a similar idea)

I like it. But wouldn’t this need to be a special functionality? Dragon’s Tongue already has the same angle as silver wide spread (90°). Surely silver wide arc would be better? Is that 180°?

Silver wide spread widens attack cone by 32 degree so it would be a 122 degree attack cone, I think that would look like the cone in the picture. Silver wide arc would give it a 180 degree cone which I think would be too big for a warrior. 122 would hit 8 enemies instead of 6 and 180 would hit 12.

But I wouldn’t mind getting a new weapon similar to the DT with a wider attack in it’s special functionality

I didn’t know this. So wide spread widens the area of attack by a certain degree? It’s not a specific angle? Good to know. In that case I’ll sign the petition  :)

Since traits are getting more and more mixed between classes and weapons/armors:

Warrior's Wide Arc would've been nice on Scout weapons.

Could we have an infused shooter weapon with…

    Silver Lucky
    Gold High Powered
    Gold Interrupt
    Infused Incendiary

The Gold Cannon skin would be really cool. It’d be great in PvP  :)

I’d like to see it on Rick’s Hatchet  :)

    Silver Wide Arc
    Gold Lucky
    Gold Ensnare
    Infused Razor

    Maybe?

    Or,

    Silver Wide Arc
    Gold Destructive
    Gold Lethal
    Infused Threat Reduction

Stick this in next survival pass and everyone with Pumpkin Spikes or Lethal MS will be throwing their money at you. I know I will  <3

@JordanYuki it is a good option. After using pumpkin a lot on a bunch of teams, i think I would sacrifice Ruthless for Hazard suit.

I didn't think I would make the trade honestly, but now presented with it, I would.

    Silver Tactical
    Gold Primed
    Gold Hazard
    Infused lucky

Because 50/50 times I'm using pumpkin on LS with Fire.

This could be useful during Scout ⭐️ Hero weeks to keep special walkers away with the charge attack that reaches 6 spaces away and 93-96% chance to snare.
    Bayonet Musket
    - Lucky (Silver)
    - Razor (Gold)
    - Ensnare (Gold)

    Scout Vest
    - Tactical (Silver)
    - Hazard Suit (Gold)
    - Ruthless (Gold)
    - Lucky (Infused)

I’ll buy it later today. The new lucky one for better odds of rooting. But in the future we’ll also need one with primed instead of HS and maybe one like Atlas suggested for warriors. With Tactical, Lucky, Primed and HS. For different situations.

I didn’t know the bayonet musket required 3 charge points, this isn’t has good as I thought it would be 😅 doesn’t say anywhere in the weapon description that it needs 3 charge points

Description implies it - all regular hunter weapons require 3 points for a charge attack.

I also have this ☝️ one. Can't think of any build on this weapon that would make me buy another.

Melee +3 charge points is doodoo 💩

Hmmm… I think that’s very generous of you to read ‘3 charge points’ from this description

    I'll take it as a compliment ;)

Also "Critical Attack" charge name should tip you off:
It's the same name as hunter weapons' charge attacks, which require 3 points.

Names are different from "Brain Stab" on these special scout weapons but they still have 200% charge attack dmg modifier.

All other scout weapons require 2 charge points so it didn’t cross my mind that it could require 3.
