The Nation Wars concept is amazing and I love it more than anyone probably should . I look forward to it every year and I tip my hat to those who sacrifice their time to make it what it is every year!

Of course my comment comes with a however. My ask @Fluxxx is that you consider a firmer stance on exploits that week and that week only. I'll leave that where it is and I say that as someone who did not participate last NW.

This year is going to be a new beginning. I personally learned a lot from being on the sidelines and I see the new crop of people killing it on the leaderboard! IMO the dinosaurs like me are going to be outshined by the motivated new members who are motivated to do great!  I think a clean game that week and a week of commoradery mixed with bragging rights is exactly what this game needs.

@Fluxxx can you provide support? Maybe throw a nice bundle the week before the match?

Anyways I am ranting so thank you for reading and as always feel free to shoot me straight if I am off base here

Competition isn't even in plans yet, and you are bringing up exploits again. If you really like Nation Wars this is not the way to start talking about it and making bad atmosphere from a start.

People are moving on and trying to forget and enjoy game. Only thing you can do is start gathering your nation team, and challenge others... who is ready to play will respond...

How is my post making a bad atmosphere from the start? I talk to a lot of people from all over and many do not want to play NW if the issues from before are not addressed so why is me asking NG for support here (and asking early before things get ramped up) such a poor idea?

My intention was to bring this unpleasant ask up now and hope to get a positive response from NG so that when it gets closer to game day and planning, there would not be unpleasant things to discuss surrounding it. Would be only building teams and going to battle.

I am sorry to you @karajoca and those who agreed with you if you and everyone else were "trying to forget" and this brought up some bad feelings for you. I am not a "head in the sand" kinda guy so sometimes I don't see how me addressing things directly affect those who avoid confrontational items.

Also I did not bring up exploits last NW so you may have me confused with someone else.

It’s not buried or forgotten the same team 2 years running has had “exploiters” where they hoaxed their score. 

@Karajoca I surely haven’t forgotten. My bundle spending was massively decreased, my game play has decreased, and my desire to continually keep spending is continually decreasing. 

NG lets glitching go on way too long and are way to nice to those that do it. Warnings, small bans, etc don’t cut it. A perm ban on an account that’s spent over 3k is a strict policy and I sure as hell would fing bet that it would limit the hell out of people not doing it as its not rocket science to figure out and been that way since beginning.

More of the same is no good. @Fluxxx this event is dead IMO. By your lack of response I can only surmise that you will treat that week like every other week even though you are well aware that NW week if a competitive event. People will play like the last 4 events. Russia will get Set, Germany will Alpha or Shiva it based on the year, Korea will just be blatant and NG will hand out 1 week bans while the NW people disqualify the one person caught cheating and declare victory. Meanwhile people spend a lot of real money for a fair match.

It is sad that there is going to be no progress for this event this year. I loved it but time to scrap it. It will be more of the same.

Now @Karajoca is the time to say I am creating a bad atmosphere. The guy who loved NW is ready to move on.

I meant to reply to this thread when I had some time, but I had completely forgotten, sorry about that.

Anyways, I'm not sure why it's still such a big topic of discussion to be honest - we have been frequently taking action against exploiters and cheaters - yes the first offence is a week-long warning ban, but the second one is a permanent suspension. We've had both, and we've seen a very big improvement in overall fair play.

I've said this somewhere before - NW is not run by us (NG), but we do facilitate and support it. So essentially, if you want to implement a rule regarding exploiting in NW, you should talk with the organizers to bring in, for example, a rule that all participants have to agree to or else they will face certain consequences. Then, we can get behind that too and take action accordingly, but we wouldn't be able to make it so that all offences committed in that specific week would face permanent suspension.
