Special section(s) icon in GW

Today i noticed an icon similar to the one by your name (it happened to be a grey skull) above a section in GW. Has anyone else seen this? What does it mean? I couldn't beat the section it was too hard. Is it like a bonus stage. Other people in my guild seen it as well. Sorry i didn't screenshot it.

hold your finger on any location on map and you set your icon

Yes. You long press to set it. It's likely that you set it accidentally when you tried to scroll or zoom. I don't know of any way you can unset it, but you can place it elsewhere on the map.
