Depends on gasbooster.
With gasbooster, personally I would definitely use governor for farming.

When gass is limited. I would use glen in lead, farm-maggie with training gear to kill.

If you have unlimited gas use Governor, Glenn and whoever.  It will take you less than 30 seconds per scavenge mission. Rinse and repeat.

if you don’t have unlimited gas, use Glenn, and whoever and play outpost. At 2 gas a mission it’s very efficient.

There are no crates afterwards on outpost. So no gold or radios or crafting materials.

I use governor for x2 keys. Without x2 keys, i use glenn lead and maggie for kills. Gas booster is governor all the way *not* for the xp/tomatos (for those too, yes) but because the crates are the way to stack up what else you need. And governor boosts those crates!

Since the buff using Glenn is faster, which is great when you're on a gas booster too. I don't think Governor is worth it any more. Haven't tested side by side or anything though.

rotate the best farming trio based on what you need and what gas you have...use Gov in lead if unlimited gas...use Pizza Glenn in lead if you need tomatoes...use Maggie Rhee in lead if you need XP... but using all 3 together is dynamic & super efficient for farming.... plus training gear for all is best

Why not just use glenn in your team too? With governor in lead.

I guess if you can do 5 scavenges with glenn in lead, in the same time you can do 4 missions with governor in lead. Then glenn lead would be better.

I think I can. With Glenn I can finish before the respawns, which slows thing's down.

Gov in lead with Glenn in the team is good too but not as fast.

What jimmorrison said. When you have glenn in lead, you use maggie to do the killing. But here's why. Her LT wording is xp buff but glenn lead buffs both her xp and tomoatoes. That's how it actually plays. So maggie gets xp gear buff, maggie xp buff, glenn/maggie xp buff, glenn/maggie tomato buff, and glenn tomato buff. This is why you use glenn in lead, so maggie can tripple bonus and then use xp gear too.

On scavange maps with 1 spawn point, or 1 main spawn point and a second smaller spawn point you can control or block, this takes 4 minutes or less. 5 if you need to be careful.

On x2 xp booster which also boosts tomato bonus if done with glenn lead maggie killing.

Gov is the better farmer on booster no question 

I use Glenn now instead just because I'm not interested if extra tomatoes or XP, only radios components and gold. 

So I use Glen for fast finish and more missions. I don't care about tomatoes ... He just opens them crates fast as hell.

Yeah, same here. I'm nearly maxed now but I always prioritized components first even when I needed the tomatoes.

Personally, I prefer Glenn but each to their own. My Gov is only 6* and since I have a 10* hunter the hard mode walkers are level 33, he gets the occasional body shot and doesn't consistently kill so it messes up my rhythm. Also, Gov's LT obviously doesn't boost tomatoes when you don't get them, so any time you get gold, radios, components, gas or gear in a crate you lose out. This happens pretty often and I find that it annoys me, considering I'm playing boring missions over and over I find it's better to do without this!

So I would rather use Glenn with a higher rarity assault with training gear who will kill consistently and get a reliable boost of tomatoes. Besides, the main time I supply scavange is after an update where we usually have 2x XP from the gift.

Because we read what you said about putting maggie in lead. Maggie *never* goes in lead. Either governor in lead and he's bonusing chests and quality of chests or glenn in lead and his bonus is on maggie. Never put maggie in lead and do your killing with glenn or governor. That should be obvious with governor. Glenn is a scout and doesn't generate danger with his kills. You want to have maggie in 3rd possition *always* so that walkers will attack 1st possition hero and 2nd possition hero when in an attack tie. By process of elimination, maggie never in lead.

Put a harpoon gun in maggies hands (and ruthless/xp armor) so she can generate 2 danger per turn. Harpoon gun can start a turn by firing special and then shooting (widespread) over a grouping of walkers. Do this after stunning or damaging with governor. Getting 9 danger a turn is easy while putting most (or all) kills through maggie to max the supplies/xp.

Use glenn to pick off straglers that might damage your ranged or to help spawnblock and control secondary spawn points or to take a hit so maggie doesnt (because glenn is in 1st or 2nd possition and maggie is always in 3rd so the walkers don't hit her).

Maggie is more of a supportive hero indeed.

However I don't particularly fancy strong statements including the words "never" or "obvious" based on own experiences, negating others experiences, different needs, different leader trait levels, equipment etc. There's always a case to be made somewhere.

For example Maggie in lead makes more sense if you need XP and don't have much gas. More so during 2x XP for kills events or XP only boosts. If your Maggie or her gear isn't as strong as the assaults this also makes her boost more useful one the assault than on her. I get far more kills with my assault, and I have better training gear for it too (my hunter gear only has silver TG) My Maggie also used to be several levels lower), because I was prioritizing challenges, not scavenging.

Per mission it doesn't matter, but with Glenn you can finish faster and hence play more missions. Governor doesn't boost anything except XP, supplies (tomatoes) and equipment.

Most people seem to be on the same page, here. But let me tell you my rationale for using the Governor instead of Glenn (most of the time).
A- If you can do at least 4 missions, use the Governor. With 4 unlocks available, that's 24 crates you can open in 4 missions.
B- If what you're going for is a quick reward, you can focus on finishing the missions as fast as possible (without putting Governor in harm's way before the end), and collect more from each crate.
C- What you are really hoping for are the silver and gold crates, which have a huge increase with Governor.
D- If gas is no object, you may want to open only 3 crates if you get unlucky, waiting until the silver or gold come up to use your extra unlocks.
E- During the Jackpot Weekend event, make sure you have some gold bars to spend to get all 9 silver or gold crates, as each one will be boosted if Governor leads.
F- If you only have enough gas for 3 Scavenge missions or less, you may want to use Glenn and Maggie to farm as much as possible per mission (careful not to go too far and get yourself hurt).

Use Maggie. Sasha is great at getting charges and then killing walkers at high levels, but her trait isn't important or even that good for scavenging.

Check Maggie's leader trait and the statistics after a mission if you want to know the difference.

DiElEl, if you really like Sasha, bring her along (with gold Training Gear, preferably). But you should still do most of your kills with Maggie wearing (Gold Gear), if you can. The person in 3rd position will simply be least likely to be attacked.

I don't purchase with 15 gold the x3 silver chests. Green items aren't worth that and any gold gained from silver chests usualy doesn't pay for itself.
