I don't realize what characters does the game use to fight for the opposite clan.
It uses the outpost defenders?

    It picks them based on the highest level characters you have (favoring heroes and pink stars).

    Unfortunately, that doesn’t narrow it down much. Whole team is level 27 with most heroes 2 pink and four 4-pink survivors. Is it just 3 of the quadruples? How does it differentiate between same-level survivors and heroes? That’s the part that I don’t recall seeing explained.
