Fair play for all

Good afternoon, developers of this wonderful game. Thank you for your work. On behalf of significant part of Russian-speaking guilds, we kindly ask you to clarify your official position on the following issues. Recently, a number of top-players from Russian guilds received permanent bans, which caused a wide response in the RU-community. Our entire community is committed to fair play. Fair play should be manifested in all its aspects and for all players, regardless of the nationality of players. The punishment of these players is clear to us and does not raise any doubts. However, in order to refute the rumors of discrimination against Russian-speaking players, we ask you to answer the following questions:
1. How many Russian-speaking players were tested for fair play?
2. Non-Russian-speaking players were tested for fair play? And if you can give as information about the results of these checks.
3. What was the reason for the fair play check? Were the high scores of Russian-speaking guilds in the guild war a reason for checks?
The lack of official information on these issues leads to rumors and speculation about discrimination against Russian-speaking players in the game. This makes Russian-speaking players nervous and increases the toxicity of other players to the entire Russian-speaking community of players, on social networks, including on the official forum. The Russian-speaking community confirms its readiness to follow the principles of fair play, we treat all players with equal respect. We sincerely hope that the official NextGames representative will answer our questions.

Sorry, you're right. I have corrected the text based on your comments.

Hi,
Just to be clear, we do not run scans based on specific player demographics, such as the country you're in, only based on the thing we're scanning for - which could be exploits, cheats, botting or other forms of gameplay automation. Then if action follows, then it is applied to all those detected - if that turns out to be a specific guild, or group of players, it is just coincidental. -
We run these scans periodically. The reasons for bans and suspensions should be written out in the suspension message. I won't go into details of why specific players got suspended.
-
-
I believe that the accusation of discrimination deserves a more detailed check and a more complete response.

Thanks for the quick response. However, is it possible to answer exactly our questions. I can explain this position. Throughout the community, information was widely reported about the punishments of 5 players from one Russian top guild. This fact led to a decrease in the points of this guild for clan wars. Based on this information, an opinion is formed that all Russian players are cheaters. Therefore, obtaining at least a percentage (for example, 100 players were checked out and got 5 banned) would allow the leaders of Russian-speaking guilds to suppress inaccurate information. The lack of information that all players, regardless of nationality, are punished for violations of fair play, leads to the assertion that only Russians are cheating. This diminishes the achievements of all Russian-speaking players. Recently, there was unconfirmed information on social networks about players who were banned for manipulating the connection. Is this just a rumor or is it true? The answer to question # 3 is sensitive. Due to the fact that a hostile attitude towards other communities is formed in the Russian-speaking community. This opinion is formed on the assumption that other top guilds take the first places due to complaints about the Russian guilds taking the first places. Guild leaders cannot suppress this negative information due to the lack of official information. In order to prevent the development of all these rumors, the leaders of the top Russian guilds formulated these questions. If the answers to these questions do not violate any interests of the developers (commercial or otherwise), we ask you to answer them.

I think fluxxx is saying that they scan the whole system, so every player. The reason that the Russians have got picked up this time is because some high profile ones were caught out and became public knowledge. There could be hundreds of players world wide who were caught but may have been in smaller guilds so we wouldn’t know about them. NG aren’t going to give a list of players suspended so will just be the ones we know about. Not really sure what else you want NG to do. People got caught, some were from Russia and happened to be in the top guild wars guild. Also happens that one of the highest profile bannings in recent years happened to be Russian and in that very same guild. Then you get the Russian team getting players banned during the nationwars competition and you can’t really blame people for having trust issues. If high profile Russian players stopped cheating then we wouldn’t be having this conversation.
-
And why the Russians were checked?
C'mon, presidential election in USA already started. -

@Vladimir_Top
@Firekid is completely correct in what he said. Why you want NG to breakdown the percentages of players banned to what is tested and in what nation, mate they aren’t here to spoon feed us. Don’t cheat and don’t get banned.Simple
Its unfortunate that Russia will have this tag. But it’s deserved at present. Blame the minority who have ruined it for the majority. Don’t put it on NG for not providing you statistics. Are you banned? No, so who gives a F. As long as you know you are clean, that’s all that matters.Who cares what we think! Or the community. When high profile players get done and particular performances raise eye brows. You expect people to question it.And I hate to bring this up, but when you have a country with the win at all cost mentality that was banned from the Olympics, it’s very easy for people to tag the Russian Nation with this label. -

This is actually what we are talking about. The misconduct of individual players is projected onto all Russians. I am not asking for separate statistics on nationalities, I am asking for general statistics. To suppress rumors among the Russian-speaking community about bias towards us, it is important to know that everyone is being checked, regardless of merit and nationality. And personally, you demonstrate toxic behavior towards all Russians. @fluxxx pay you attention.

Интересно, какого ответа ожидает автор? Да мы баним конкретно русских, остальным прощаем, lol
-
It’s okay to cheat if you spend a little tickle and a little foreplay but you will be returned to action ASAP!It’s been that way forever now they do small suspensions, where most gaming companies do perm bans for exploits.
-
All I did was relocate from Antarctica to Volgograd and was permanently banned by NG!
Life definitely isn't fair...... -

If ng were to share statistics on bans, that information could theoretically be used to backtrace and figure out which type(s) of automation were flagged. This could then be used to determine which type(s) of automation are currently undetected and remain under the radar. And that is why no game publisher should *EVER* release this type of information.

@Vladimir_Top fluxxx answered that though. - we don’t scan by particularly player types. They scan for the exploit/cheat itself. Players found using the cheat are banned. Not sure what else you want him to say?

They weren't scanning for racist nazi hate messages in guild names. I really don't think anyone is out to get you for typing Russian in game chat. -

@ghost_pepper. During a routine check, I am sure that any national characteristics are not used. And when members of the Russian guilds who took first place go to the ban in a row, suspicions of bias arise. Fluxxx's answer to our questions is very general. This answer sounds like everything is fine, you don't need to worry. A significant part of the players were pessimistic about getting any specific answers to our questions. But we decided to try to get information, and apparently we will get only general answers like blah blah blah. Even this topic shows that there is an equivalence of the concepts of Russian player and cheater.

edit: spelling -
You can't ask and expect detailed answer from developers to tell you on which way exactly they discover manipulative players in their game. Unfortunately there are still cheaters out there, not just here but in every game. If any more details are discovered here, can only help rest of the cheaters to don't get caught next time.
I think answer you get was pretty clear - they run scans periodically and they scan all. If you don't believe this, that's your problem.
It's very logical to me why players from same guild and community get banned. When you discover tricks like this and if you share with someone that will be inside your guild won't tell whole world.
So, don't pretend you don't understand anything and blame someone else. You need to distance yourself from banned players and show the rest of your group is fair, i believe that and never questioned.
