My team has been in discussion about Guild Wars and the attempt at being Number 1.
We have chosen to play 4 days so we can balance burn out within the guild and give us an opportunity to have the weekend free as we do have real lives. We save gold, tools and time.
We have come to the conclusion there is absolutely no reason to Chase the top spot and play 6 days because you benefit more playing in a team of 10 and receive more points for the GW Shop for yourself. That is just Fact sorry.
We pride ourselves in being the best and have shown on numerous occasions we are difficult to beat. With the Current format with Point accumulation to the Season, you give us Zero Desire/Reason to be Number 1 against our Enemies on the Leaderboard because it’s not a true reflection on the matches. We put up some of our best numbers just gone but are disadvantaged as we play with 10 players over 4 days on the Leaderboard.
Besides a Tier system in the Guild Shop that has been introduced again, I am grateful this is introduced but for the Radios, we look at it and think “is that it?!”, why not offer a great weapon or Armour that is unique within the game and really I give teams to push hard. And this is for all the teams to have an opportunity.
But becoming Top 3 really needs attention.
Because a Virtual pat on the back for getting in the Top 3 with no reward or Trophy cabinet to show off, just sucks.
Why do we want to come 1st? And when it clears and it’s forgotten.
To entice the top players to push and spend money as you want. Give us a bone to fetch. You literally have given us no reason to come 1st.
It’s a Business and you aren’t about giving away something for free, I understand this. But you are would be rewarding the top 3 Teams with something great after we slog away for 4 weeks against the best teams.
Otherwise we will continue To dominate at 10 people, spend less gold and tools, have a sweet weekend in Real life! And get more rewards as an individual compared to the team that comes 1st.
Give us a Bone and make it worthwhile with the Leaderboard Ranking.
And before people complain about it only catering for top teams. I understand that you don’t care. But when the shoe is on the other foot, you want something to entice you to be better. If you were in this position you would feel the same.

We were a guild that was in the top 40 of the global leaderboard, but we were tired of fighting and burning out just for the honor of the guild without any rewards. Our members talked about it and stopped working hard on the guild war. We would like to see some special rewards for the guilds that make it into the global leaderboard, not just the top 3.

100% agree (although since we are guild mates it comes as no surprise). Playing 100mph in every battle, 6 days on, 1 day off is incredibly taxing and gold consuming - there is no reason to do this in my eyes since there is no real reward at the end. The way the system favours teams of 6-8 players ruins the game mode for me, I believe there should be a small bump in the win bonus to guilds who pull together a full team. Surely you would want to encourage maximum participation? I think a 1.55x multiplier would offset the imbalance between team selections and mean that people could have lives at the weekend and still compete at the top of the leaderboards.

Developers of this game always look to find easiest possible solution to make things "work".
There are thousands of small/not full guilds or "casual" ones who can't play GW with full team every day. Because of them we get to choose setup from 3 to 10 players per battle.
That's ok, great thing for those guilds. But still, you can't put hundreds of fully organised guilds in same basket with them, let everyone choose their own "rules" and be on the same board.
This mode requires leagues, put similar strength teams together from beginning, give them same rules,same number of players per battle and let them fight.
Only when that is done correctly we can talk about rewards.
Lack of creativity when comes to rewards is just funny. Master tier can be reached by hundreds of guilds, which is ridiculous. There can only be one master, the winner of the season, and those guys won't fight for some special weapon. They want a trophy, recognition in game. Virtual trophy who will be standing in guild screen saying "we are the champions".
That is what you need. Give as a reason to compete and fight for, don't let another mode potential fade awaySearching for a guild ? Join Wild Walking Family here

look at guild ПогранЗастава in spreadsheet, last season relax play T10 miss two first day, no stress, a lot of RP for guild shop and they got total 5 place
so my point if you wana win you should fight every day if you wana relax you probably not win the season
so 6 day better for me, but I'm agree that prize for winning is crap and need really good prize for guilds that can push 200k VP for season mb some cool equipment or in game cosmetic things

Our battle of 8800 VP has 0 fails, only 6H not closed but there was no enough high level doable missions to pile on and that's immediately 200 points loss.
You play how much mapset allows you.
Also, there is no statement from NG that you should play all 6 days to win more points, instead they claim there is no benefit from any tactics which is very wrong.
Even if it work as intended, changing team numbers just to avoid enemy you don't want to face is made for chickens and theoretically there can be season where teams on top never face eachother, making all this even more meaninglessSearching for a guild ? Join Wild Walking Family here

but if TLOU, Red, GK, Mavs will be fights every wars from war2 against each other so you will have good chances breaking NG statement

It’s not just GW, it’s the challenge also. Top players in top guilds invest a lot in this game, not just money but also time. But the rewards at the highest levels are honestly pretty shitty. Just give us some more radios or something. Our heroes are already 3-5 pink stars, will giving high scoring guilds 100 more radios in the challenge, or some exclusive rewards in GW, really break the game?Proud member of Mavericks OG, a top 3 global GW and challenge guild.

Just hoping there is solution for this in future. Top guilds should be playing under same conditions and on same days, no escaping fights, no need for debate what is bigger achievement, scoring 9k+ with 10, or play all 6 days.

Outpost has an influence mechanic where if you beat a stronger opponent you get more influence and if you beat a weaker opponent you get less influence. The system isn't perfect and obviously needs an overhaul but at the heart of it is potentially a decent idea?Maybe there's something that could be pursued along these lines?

My guild chooses the relatively easy route and gets about 7700 VP with 10 people per battle but We can reach the master tier even we lose all the battles.
