@Steeboon Once per failed mission.

From the update notes:

 Guild Wars gas is now used for replaying Guild Wars Missions. The new option comes with a few rules:

• A mission can only be replayed with GW Gas once
• The option to replay is only available on the "Failed" mission screen, and it has to be played with the same survivors and equipment
• The cost of each replay within one battle will scale up - each replay in the same battle will cost more than the previous

Note: Players who have Guild Wars Gas from the original Guild Wars, retain amounts that have been accumulated. Additionally, the update gift will contain some GW gas as well.

@Bengals15 it's not an iOS/Android issue. This happened to players who were playing continuously from before the war started - a restart should fix it.

I dont like the aspect that you have to fail to make the red gas useable.

It would be a better use for the red gas to fully heal one survivor in GW.

I like it, allows you go in and try and battle through with no tools, don’t succeed go again and use tools. 

Also have used it where I made a stupid mistake on a map I know I could clear easily and got rick and a bruiser into a struggle so let myself get defeated and re did it to save on hospital time. Ended with just a bruise.

I agree. Given the fact that the mechanics of the game often freeze to wait for luck, why not have one cartridge that would shoot again at the enemy and not yourself a lucky person in the head ))

what does this mean?  cost what and how  
does it take another sword to replay a lost battle?  I will stay safe if that's the case.

Say you lose your first mission, you get defeated it costs 1 red gas to reply that at no additional cost. If you get defeated again then you lose your sword and have to replay it as normal, no more retries. 

You play mission 2 and get defeated again. You can replay that mission at the cost of 2 red gas. 3rd failed mission costs 4 gas. Etc etc.

I really want to know how is the scale of red gas, 1,2,4,???
and the same question remains about the badges reroll, 15,20,25,25,???

@marroba2000 it went 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 I think I used a fair bit of red gas yesterday 😂. Rerolls max at 25.

Red gas is sold at Guildshop 10 for 100 RP. Why not give us the opportunity to sell our (useless) gas at the same rate?

The retries are in a way nice so you aren't screwed if you make a small mistake, but it also means players in general can win harder missions than before. So there is now a huge need for more hard missions at the bottom right of the map!
