Please give your feedback after your first run of the distance. Did you complete it, did you enjoy it? Was it too easy or too hard? Like the rewards? What would you change?

I'm not an end gamer. Usually reach 1.800 - 2.000 stars in challenge and 500 - 600 VP in GW.Nightmare distance seems really hard for me. Not enogh missions to charge up all suvivors.Think next week i return to hard distance.BTW: Where is the legendary fragment that is displayed in nightmare mode? Also searching SRick tokens?Proud member of WEIRDnDEADLY

Rewards will change each week, guessing we will see them at some point.

I managed 15 out of the 21 missions but the rewards were much better than completing distance on hard

18/21. The 52 tanks on 19 were too tough
for reference I beat distance hard last week with 5 survivors -

I really enjoyed it, it wasn't as much of a challenge as I was hoping for it to be but the bump in rewards was definitely worth my time. I used to play the hard mode just for the easy rewards but the past few weeks I just haven't really been bothered to play it.
I think because it is basically the same as the hard mode only with increased levels it didn't really cause me too many problems. Motorpool was tough but since the strategy is to light them up and then let them fight with the scouts the scaled levels changed nothing. Fire does the same as it does at 50 as it does at 40 and level 50+ scouts do a nice chunk of damage to the tanks. I had 3 scouts and 2 tanks dead on the first turn and then the next one was easy enough on it's own thanks to the Sasha harpoon and Rick with the spear! Same with the mission after with level 50+ freemen, level 50 walkers kill them just as fast as in hard mode.
I think it will be more tricky when we get to set 5/6 with ultra high level spikes we need to kill. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing some more badge fragments, some rare ones to help cycle through the sequence and I don't think 1 gold frag would upset the economy too much. Especially when you're giving 300 gold worth of tools away.

Jeff’s videos and suggestions for Nightmare Distance (set 2)...It is no joke! I made it out with no losses, but I did use one nade in a sticky situation. I also made some silly mistakes with Sasha, so I used some gold in between missions to restore her to green, so it’s not a “clean” no loss run.Would not recommend nightmare Distance unless you can finish hard Distance with no loss and you regularly play level 45+ challenge missions.My tips:1. You need to play it like the old Distance when it was more difficult. Charge up a lot of survivors at the beginning to have flexibility later on. Don’t be afraid to flee if you need to, to save your most important survivors (Sasha) for later on. The last missions are almost impossible without her.2. Level 46+ maps are all about two things: making walkers burn and staying alive. The most important survivors for me this week were Sasha (charging and rooting), Shane (killing with his LT), and Bruisers/Assaults (to stay alive).3. Being able to charge quickly (Lucky harpoon, Lucky festive shotgun, and Lucky decimator) made my life a lot easier. Sometimes you’ll see me linger at the end of missions to get charge points for the next mission.4. These maps definitely require a little more skill. Be aware of where walkers spawn and how far they can move to get to you. Play more slowly/carefully.

Competed it. Nothing big. Rewards are ok. Lost my primary team then secondary team over small slip ups. Competed it still with the remaining survivors left.

What do you do with your legendary fragments then @Drunken? I get so many from the components events. Don't you use those?

I haven't started it yet, but I am not that impressed with the rewards.
Maybe I am just being greedy? However, consider the highest level for Hard Distance was lv 41, and we 100+40 hero tokens. What do we get for beating lv 42 on Nightmare? 100+100 class tokens
I also don't think 1 or 2 tools is that great either. Especially on such high levels, where some people may have to use tools just to get to them anyway. I would at least like to see this:
1 gore + 1 grenade at mission 11
2 flares + 2 medkits at mission 16
This opens up level 14 and 20 for new rewards. Maybe the missing legendary frag can be at 20 and some hero tokens at 14?
It would be pretty nice if there were some Black Market tokens peppered in there too. -
Kinda want to try this new distance mode but my game is stuck in mid 2019....

Fair enough @Drunken. I still think they made the right choice and gave everyone who needs legendary fragments plenty of options too. Very sloppy play for me but i managed pretty fine even after losing Sasha at mission 13-14
In my defense it was hard and busy day and when you are interrupted multiple times concentration is lost.
This play just brought me back to old days when we were completing distance with 23 level survivors. Nightmare is now exactly as Hard mode was at beginning. That said, difficulty is about right, and i heard some players from best guilds failing to complete in their first time so can't say it's easy .
However, i believe after few months, many more will be able to do it, and to keep things interesting i hope at least this last few levels in each set can be little reworked, nothing special, bring few walkers/ change mission goal/add few walkers, increase/decrease spawns, etc.
Will be hard at beginning, but people will manage sooner or later. Finding ways to achieve something, to compete. That's what we need continuouslySearching for a guild ? Join Wild Walking Family here

I loved it. Challenging, entertaining, decent and fair rewards.
To be brutally honest, it's the only "on point" mode right now. -
I just completed it and I performed better than I expected lol
I used the first 10 missions to charge up as many survivors as I could, just like in the old days. (I didn't miss this part)
I lost Sniper Morgan on Outskirts, thanks to one of those bruisers. T-Dog could've saved Morgan with a charge attack, but I figured a charged T-Dog was more valuable than Sniper Morgan moving forward.
I then lost Shooter Rick on Show of Force. I was using a Beta lead, hoping to herd walkers and then blow them up with Rick. Unfortunately it didn't work out that well since 2 armored guys wanted to hang by the gate.
After that it was pretty smooth sailing from there. I thought for sure I was going to have to try Motorpool a few times, but Rufus with Daryl's Assault Rifle was the MVP.
I did get into a tricky situation on the last mission, but it worked out fine. So two losses, no tools used. It was quite a bit of fun. I am looking forward to next week's Distance.
