Yumiko's LT is misleading

"When Yumiko attacks an enemy on her turn all ranged survivors enough range will attack the target for X amount if damage.
As a leader each member of your team gains this bonus."
This would include a melee survivor getting assistance from ranged toons as long as Yumiko was lead.

Yes, true, but that is only stating the Result from the attack itself, not who acquires the bonus, but who sets it off. At the end it says that basically when ANY member of your team makes an attack THEN ONLY ranged survivors/heroes respond.
The antagonist can be anyone.
That's what it says, perhaps the devs meant something else, but it explicitly states at the end that ANY team member will gain the bonus assistance from other RANGED toons. -
@perlhax
check the FAQ it’s clarified.Firing Squad
Whenever Yumiko attacks an enemy, all ranged allies within range of the target will attack it as well for a portion of their damage.
As a leader, every ranged ally gains this ability.
Weapons' areas of attack apply normally. For example, an assault survivor with a wide arc weapon will also damage other enemies that would normally be hit with a regular attack.
Note: The trait does not apply if Yumiko's target dies -
Yes, yes I see. But in the trait description it says ANY member. Not any ranged toon.
I appreciate your expediency in answering questions. I'm not trying to be a snob when I say I have a pretty solid understanding of the game and its mechanics. (most of which that is helpful I learned here, from the community members such as yourself). The assault example you gave above is precisely what is exploited to maintain their charge attacks and therefore build proper stun walls. -
Mate this is such a stupid thread that you are trying to create. This is not misleading and if you can’t realise it’s only for the range survivors that are in shooting distance benefit from this, maaaate!!! Go have a look in the mirror and uppercut yourself. You trying to say it’s misleading because of the final paragraph saying any member is stupid.@zbot You shouldn’t even bother replying to this. This is just for reference so when you uppercut yourself you can read this picture at the same time.My IQ has dropped just by conversing with you.

Calm down man. I actually think @perlhax has a good point. If you have a team with Yumiko (leader), Beta & Jesus, it does sound on the description that Yumiko would fire also when Beta and Jesus makes their attacks (but Beta and Jesus would not support each others' attacks).
This would actually be pretty cool and support ranged-melee hybrid strategies, which there is a distinct lack of in the current meta.Ingame username: Jubjab -
@brucewayne007 I try to stay away from mirrors. I'm just too good looking and get stuck in awe...
did you actually choose the name brucewayne007 or...? -

I am very calm. -
Yumiko Trait working for scout - how to Defense ?
The Expendables - Polska gildia -
I agree, it's misleading. If it's clarified in the FAQ, great, but why hasn't it been updated in the actual game?
For the record that's the same phrasing other heroes have at the end of the LT. Just look at Sasha.
So I can certainly understand why people would think if Yumiko is leading a melee toon, then when that melee toon attacks an enemy it would cause Yumiko and any other ranged ally to attack. That's actually what I thought at first. Obviously after testing when she first came out, it didn't work that way, but as @Burmeliinis points out it would be pretty cool if it did.

all ranged survivors, and for melee survivors not included

Yeah, think of the possibilities! Melee toons getting backup, oh the possibilities!
