Another Use for Guild War Gas

I am sure I am far from the only person in this position but I have over 700 GW gas and rarely to never use any of it.

Can there be an event or perhaps a means for us to trade GW gas for other items? Radios, Gold, Reroll Tokens, etc. (Whatever is reasonable)?

Not a huge item on the table; however some low hanging fruit I was hoping you guys and gals in headquarters could help us out with.

Same rate as it is in GW shop now (but vice versa) would be sufficient:
100RP for 10 red gas.

How about in addition to being able to repeat failed missions, red gas also lets you do recon on a GW mission so that you can see what kind of map it is?  Does it have auto-spawn or spawn counters?  Where are the spawn piles?  Where are the spawn positions for missions with spawn counters?  Where are the boxes that must be opened?  Is there a gate and if so how many turns?  What is the map layout?  What does my starting position look like?  Once red gas is used, the player would need to play the mission or it counts as a loss.

If we want to make more heroes/team viable, knowing more information about the mission would help encourage that.  Spending some red gas to get that information would be valuable.

Another possible use for red gas is to have the option to spend 5 red gas to repeat a failed mission but with a different team.  There are times when players enter a mission with the wrong team or forgot to switch out equipment.

I like the idea of doing a recon noted above. Maybe use GW Gas to jump out of the map in the first round without losing your attack. You can then reset your team and go back in if you want... Or not.

I just went into a challenge map but forgot to swap bulldozer onto mercer and swap lucky dcm off. I still made it through bbq but with several grabs. Rather than repeat (and I'm still on x2 from round passes), I just move on because idgaf anymore. Already done with my gw days and I have 2 weekend days I mostly with fill with anything because I can't stomach frustration anymore.

Everyone goes into missions with wrong heros/gear sometimes. That this hasn't already been turned into a gold grab is astonishing and shows how little ng is connected to the common player experience. Red gas is a great choice for this idea.

No, not free flee. That’s going to be ripe for abuse. Players should still incur the penalty of points reduction but pay more red gas to switch out for a different team. You can look at it as the first team went into the mission and failed but they brought back some intelligence and now you’re sending in the A-team to finish the job. 

The recon idea is to go into a map that is unpopulated by enemies. It can even be a static image if that’ll make it easier to implement. Looking at the map allows the player to decide on team composition and equipment. If the player does not play the mission after looking at the map, then that action is lost and the next attempt can even be a different map.

I am a little late to this discussion but note that some of us that accumulated Red Gas no longer play GW. Please consider an option to redeem it in non-GW ways.

I have over 700, would like to be able to spend them on the Black Market. Same with regular gas cans, got over 10,000 of them!
