Fixed issue with Guild Wars individual scores occasionally getting recorded twice for some players

guys from DoomSquad how many times was use red gas on your side?

Let me give you what I have....first they only lost 9 points from red gas and no other points.  With 3 attacks left they first did 2x 49 KAZ and realized they were over the max score and they had the glitch so they did not do the last KAZ which was a 50.  FYI the 50 would have been done to use their last normal attack and would not have done the 2x 49 without the glitch attacks.  So they should have had a real score of 14629 without the glitch.

We’re having the same situation with the same guild today. Battle is not over but we know we can’t exceed max as they have.

Little uncalled for....these are the only two times we have had issues, seems some teams have had a ton more, and lets face it this is an NG problem not a guild problem.  Elite did the right thing and left an attack as soon as they saw the problem.  Try being constructive with NG rather than slinging names around.

Just a heads up both times the extra attacks showed up when exiting Kaz pile ons.

I completely agree it was uncalled for and empathize with your teams’ having to endure the disruption this glitch has caused which, viewing it from our end, resulted in a deflated team spirit. That said, you must admit that when we discovered that it was the second time in consecutive days this has happened to you, the suspicion of a glitch being exploited was not an unreasonable premise. Had the same happened to us, I’m sure you might have some thoughts along those lines. We’re hopeful, as I’m sure you are, that NG can address this problem before the next season.

Elite was very open about the glitch from the start, our rep immediate contacted @Lexia about this issue on Slack and I immediately addressed the issue with @CroKK_onemoretime in this thread.  If our intention was to exploit the glitch we would not have stopped and left attacks on the table.  People will think what they think but again I restate that this is an NG problem, Elite came forward and did the right thing, that's all we can do.  This is a very touchy subject and name calling does not make it any better, whether in jest or not.

Just noting here quickly that we are looking into the reports about higher scores/additional scores.

So far no indication of anything related to the use of Red Gas. Seems more likely that it's still something with the scores getting recorded twice. I'll aim to share more when I can

You (and apparently your group as well) handled this bug and this conversation with class and that was nice to see. We all know there are bugs litterally everywhere in this game and it's not surprising at all to me that one might creep up on a player/group like this. And it is a touchy subject.

If anything, presenting publicly with such integrity is a big win for your group. Well done.
