Balance of Power and Heros

I believe Lexia addressed having the Melee team balance at some point and from a profitability standpoint I get the back and forth.

That said I started a long time ago. Back in the day it was melee then it was range that ruled then back and back again.

I am sure it may have helped profits to do that. I am just making an assumption.

But that said if that is your business model how long will it take for people to not buy bundles to upgrade classes? I remember when survivors were better than heros and now a lot of us have 5 pink maxed (like @Movado had day 2) and they are useless.

I have learned never to buy bundles to build heros like Carol or any other you introduce because either the traits may change or a new class will make them obsolete.

What is even more taxing for me even though I may stand with only a few here is that leg gear is mostly all scrap. Deluxe crates should have infused traits and gold crates with equipment should have the same.

I have money like others may but hard to spend it with these parameters..

This challenge i was play with 2 warriors and 1 scout up to round 60 ~difficulty 50.
MS + Perseverance + Carol's Cookies is very good power. I don't understand what is the problem of balance?

The only thing I see as the last major hurdle for melee is challenge rounds 70 - 80.

This directly forces the use of popular meta range teams for crowd control. 

Beyond these 10+ missions I think the balance is coming closer.

As for late challenge... I'm not sure what can be done (or if anything should be done) to make melee viable there.

PGG, Zeke and Beta etc do a fervent job on some of those missions even so.

Give warriors and bruisers extra movement like scouts and shooters. That wouldn't throw off the balance would it?
