As any guild is facing strong discussions about politics and solidarity in the gaming-scene, NG plays very well!

Just wanted to point this out, while it´s far to quiet here about this war, which I remember wasn´t the case in former situations.

Every action and non-action in your life is a political statemant.

My thouhts and prayers are with all the people at the Ukraine and also with the russian soldiers which been sacrificed for a unnessecary
attack of one psychic and toxic leader.

I gather that most of us aren't using this game platform to launch into our social views right now. Maybe that's a good thing? Dunno. Unsure. NG seemed to do really well with the early covid at-home unity thing. That seemed to unite a lot players during some global scary stuff. I think these current events feel different and that's why everyone is staying quiet.

Realistically, this forum hasn't even been able to handle the discussions of alleged semi-organized cheating by some Russian players. And that is just limited to some silly competition in a phone game. The pink elephant in the room is orders of magnitude bigger and will be one of the most significant world events in our lives, just like covid is/was. I gather no one wants to talk about it yet.

I think NGs statement of support was spot on, wording and sentiment perfect, and I applaud them for it. Well done. They don't need to expand upon it any further.

I'd also like to say to our Russian based players that I know you aren't responsible. I think everybody knows this. I had a unstable leader of my country for 4 years. I can't imagine what it would be like to have one seemingly without an end. I hope having your economy turned inside out is over soon.

All of us are experiencing varying degrees of being trapped by the pink elephant. I know of several players in my guild (I'm one of us) constantly glued to the news. It's wrecking my nerves. And maybe there will come a time where we do need to talk about it openly here on this forum. I hope if that time comes we can all remember that no one needs to enter the blame game. It goes nowhere positive and helps no one heal.

And if there's even 1 person reading this in the Ukraine, the eyes of the world are on you. You're not alone.
