When a Dopamine cycle is interrupted, sometimes you can analyse the situation when you take a step back...


We all put up with a few problems, currently..

1) Character Picture Selection Blackout
2) 9 Message Bug
3) GW Broken/Freezes/Extra Attacks/Lost Attacks/Matchmaking dodgy
4) Hershel LT bug (although is a positive apparently)
5) Season Mission Bugged (will next weeks even work?)
6) "Pay to get" Reveal on Tyreese tokens and Michonnes Hood (cash please)
7) and now the Round Passes

Within 10 days of each other if i am not mistaken.


Maybe this is the "New Normal"...    Hey I would take 1 hair out of my sandwich and eat it....   But not 7.....

Historically there's been a few Fast Walker Bugs, Ghost Space Walker bugs (he looks here but is over there?), retaliate thru walls bug, Outpost defenders bug, campaign tokens bug, primed bug, bodyshot bug, end turn missing bug, some Leader Trait bugs, fire bugs and of course Guild War (hahaha Beta lol).....

I myself once received 25 Gold Compensation for a 2 week account freeze, so i know NG "really care" about our problems...   Heck they got a business to run and we keep coming back....   No shame there it's a good game.

However I find myself not trusting the thing i put my time to, and if work stopped paying me then i wont turn up.


No one who plays should feel bad about it, and I feel i am letting my Guild down when they need stuff just like everyone.. But compensation for my 26 Round Passes was not given...  Not even in rewards alone nor collectively...


If the RP failed NEXT week, would that be a final straw?
I could play, but has NG guaranteed they will sort anything?  

So there is NO correct answer to what to do.  Everybody plays how they enjoy but it is not for me right now, this hairy sandwich they offer..   I am not hungry for it lol.


What would be nice is if they address the issue rather than the silence or lame support responses.

As you all know this is the NG cycle...  

So i suspect for most who are pissed it is similar, and RP just the next thing we gotta forget.


Absolutely NO personal attacks meant towards Players or Staff, it is just a game....   

But fix it and tell the community and we would all be happier i am sure.

And as we say in London....   "Stop mugging us off"

…bugs.. bugs… life is full of bugs and we pay a lot for them! even more than our NML bundles… 
I use a statement for bugs. They can be an “opportunity”… apply this to Real Life bugs… no matter what they are.
You can deal with Real Life shit considering it an “opportunity”… you will discover a whole world of chances on this 🔥🔥🔥

Probably I am the worst, because I was never furious about the game. I don't believe in getting upset over a game. Can't remember the exact day I started playing but should be somewhere near the end of October 2015.

The only time I felt a bit sad was my 2 legendary survivors died permanently and the memorial is always there to remind me 😂

How time flies. I am probably also one of the few here who are contented with the compensation. It doesn't matter, I am happy ☺️

on Dec 2015 i've lost ALL my hunters in the deadly mission Into the Woods of Dim Forest 🙀

Lol 😂 Here's mine. I lost a bruiser and shooter on the same day and they were my best survivors at that time 😂

After that, I never touched the deadly mission anymore 😂

I was so reckless in Deadly missions 😆 lost my best survivors at that time.

I won't begrudge people their frustrations. I'm frustrated too. More for the damage this does to morale than to my own personal gameplay. 

The compensations balance this somewhat in certain player demographics... But not mine. Not a big part of the endgame. But I'll be ok. My guild will be ok. 

I don't like seeing people frustrated and dissatisfied which is why I spend probably too much time trying to think of improvements and changes. LOL. 🤷

But yeah people are upset they have a right to be. For me I'll get over it. And I hope everything gets sorted soon. Fingers crossed.

just watch your dead survivors and you know.

my best hunter was my first hunter. survived 48 days and dead december 18
…so i know i started 31 oct.. or 1 november 2015

in your case Jeanette survived 15 days… died 18 Nov… so you may have started nov the 3
…you may had older survivors? ..it can be… but we were used to play with our best in a deadly mission 🙂

I have been playing since November of 2015. So yeah, I’ve been around. I also play Clash of Clans and I have a love hate relationship with Fallout Shelter, been playing them years longer. I play games I like to break up the day, or if nothing is really happening. Mostly I play because I enjoy them. That joy doesn’t diminish when I feel disappointed or let down by actions in the game, you know bugs and stuff. So to say we should suck it up or quit I find quite disheartening. I know what I spend on these games, it ain’t a free ride. The mark of a good company is not only that they acknowledge a mistake, but rather how they handle that mistake. Frankly I find NG’s response lacking. But that doesn’t mean I give up on the game. It just means that I should not be left wanting and feeling I should retaliate by not funding the game on my end. I will continue to play with the hindsight knowledge that there was a day when NG did do better, perhaps that will come full circle again. Not wanting to offend anyone. Just survive and peace.

we often forget we play into a distopic scenario where we have to survive 😅… there is not much “compensation” in a zombie apocalypse ..i use to think that when things goes wrong 😂😂😂

I got over being aggravated, but now I aggravated all over again.  Didn't realize how impacted losing 26 round passes  would make on this and upcoming challenges.   I am at  64 of 80 rounds.  I have only 3600+ points and facing level 54 walkers.  Considering All the time this challenge has taken to even reach 3600+ and seeing how it negatively will impact this and future challenges makes it a difficult pill to swallow.

Had anyone even come out and apologised? Hugely frustrating to spend so much gold on healing in the last round for nothing. Double xp and free fuel is insulting when people need to start from 0level passes.

 @FuriousMoldovan I asked Support several months back when people joined the guild. Similar thought. The answer was nope.

 @FuriousMoldovan I asked Support several months back when people joined the guild. Similar thought. The answer was nope.

Not sure if they keep data regarding when people joined the guild.

But I asked them about creation date and got an answer approx a year ago:

And now it happens again, years later, on the heels of the challenge named after him.

Coincidence? Obviously yes, but interesting nonetheless.

I believe all of us that spend money on the game should boycott any spending of money. I’m free to play until NG realizes that when they say “we are resetting the Challenge so there will be no round passes so nobody gets an unfair advantage” actually means “we do have coders on staff and we could fix this problem and all of you will keep your round passes but it’s just cheaper if we say screw it and screw your round passes”. I would rather NG just be honest. If you are going to screw me than just say “I’m screwing you”. Don’t BS me about unfair advantages. That has nothing to do with this last problem. It was simply cheaper to pull a “do over” than it was to pay coders to fix the problem and let us keep our round passes. Screw me?  Screw you NG.

Given NG's general apathy and incompetence, boycotting is probably more likely to shut down the game than light a fire under their butt to do better.

Actually I think they just hate us players. Wanting to play the game and not just pay every day for bundles of crap seems to be annoying them. 

Now you finish challenge with no losses and get nothing but a kick in the a.. I asked support and they said it’s because I haven’t made enough stars. Well, it’s like cutting someone’s leg off and then complain why he’s running so slow. No normal people would act like this… I’m seriously worried about how this great game is developing the last couple of weeks. So maybe it’s just hard to focus on bug fixing, testing and all that, when you spend all day with counting money.

I'm in the same boat. Still have my compensation unused. Finished the challenge on Friday without it and hit the "maximum" score of 5014 because of the RP fiasco. I see 70 Yumiko tokens sitting there at 5050 which I couldn't reach (unfairly as I has 26 RPs as usual from prior week) and all rewards past that point (unfairly and specifically the radios I was shorted). It is unfortunate that NG did not or could not scale the rewards so anyone reaching 5014 received full credit. If they could not scale it they certainly could distribute the rewards easily enough to anyone who hit 5014 or over. I really think the compensation selection was short-sighted.

Yeah those of us @Cronus @BloodyChainsaw that normally cleanup everything in Nightmare Challenge (Hero tokens, Tools, Raidios) did not come out ahead last week... And for much more time and effort than we normally would spend.

But everyone who doesn't normally do Nightmare Challenge (especially not perfecy 5358) cleaned up pretty good from the compensation. 10 free tools and crazy long combo events and Week of free gas & x2 XP.

So, you might say that those who push the Hardest got boned and those that push the Least made BANK.

(to be fair, I'm personally ok with sacrificing a few rewards for myself to help pump up the bottom and middle of the player base. I get it that not everyone would feel this way and that's also okay) ✌️😎
