New Bruiser Weapon: T-Dog’s Fire Poke

Gold: Destructive
Gold: Concussion

Special Functionality: Attacks a three-space arc ahead of the user. Overwatch attacks force the target to end their turn early 

Charge Attack: Root Smash: Damage and stun every enemy adjacent to the target. Enemies which can’t be stunned are rooted for 1 turn

The non-offensive version of this weapon could have Lucky instead of Destructive, or I’d even take Razor. With any of these versions I think bruisers could crowd control high level specials and with Tyresse’s LT this could make completing challenge with all melee teams achievable for more of us. I’m upgrading a regular bruiser weapon with Gold Lucky and Gold Ensnare to test it out in next week’s challenge

On second (or third!) thoughts I would prefer…

Special Functionality: Reaches two spaces away, attacks at an angle to hit up to 3 enemies. Attacks which are body shots cripple the target for 1 turn 

Charge Attack: Root Smash: Damage and stun every enemy adjacent to the target. Enemies which can’t be stunned are rooted for 1 turn

I’ve been using this with T-Dog for a lot of this challenge and it’s immense. 84% chance to root specials on charged attacks and I don’t even have lucky armour! If I did the chance would be 96%!!

It’d be great if NG have got something in mind for an area-stun bruiser weapon which roots. With PSV, Weakening, Beat Em Up, Punish and Lucky T-Dog still charges pretty well off a single target weapon but I doubt other bruisers could as effectively
